The Elder Scrolls Forums _ Elder Scrolls Lore _ RP Announcement: Come To Your Senses

Posted by: SEKKA Nov 25 2004, 06:34 AM

To whoever receives this note,
Come to your senses, there is something you should be doing, and deep down you know it, it may be madness, it may be sanity, but you will not know unless you accept. Come to your senses, they will lead you where you are needed, or where you will lend balance in things that are lacking that balance, travel the road, some to your senses, they will lead you to Morrowind, to the cave of the Dog. Come quickly, come with your senses, though you be warrior, mage, thief, scholar, your skills may be needed. Come to your senses.
~ The Senses~

Okay, so Sekka is having an RP, This is going to work this way, everyone who wants to join this RP can assume that through some manner they have received this mysterious note. Now you can interoperate this however as long as you end up in the “cave of the Dog” near the beginning of the RP (this cave is somewhere in the mainland of Morrowind so just make it so your character follows their senses and finds it.) I’m going to be In the RP as much as possible while it is running, but that means mostly evenings, 4 – 11, but I will leave it pretty open to RP It how you like. I would ask that no mega ultra uber characters take over everything and destroy Nirn during this RP. So if everyone would introduce their characters and if you want to put up the story of how they receive the letter. I will start this thing soon so be ready.

IMPORTANT NOTE: for all of you participating in Lorannas RPs I have it planned that this one is taking place between the events of “Frozen Tears” and the next one which works because everyone is in Morrowind anyway and this would be something for your character to be doing between now and that RP.

Anyway here are my characters.

Name: Sekka (Sequa)
Race: Dunmer (possibility of being part Nord)
Age: Undeterminable
Description: Ugly Dunmer wearing beat up Adamantium boots and raggy clothing.
Info: Sekka is a schizophrenic Dunmer with three distinct personalities, a silent Dunmer thief, an annoying Dunmer nobleman, and a stereotypical Nord. He is always accompanied by an extremely intelligent Dog that he had named Dumac.

Name: The Speaker for the Senses, known as Speaker.
Race: Breton
Age: old
description: an old Breton Monk who wears a thick, hooded robe of faded red.
Info: The Speaker is the one who will provide those who answer the letter with quests and objectives that help to solve the unknown final objective.

P.S. I will open up a Chatspike Channel at #Senses_RP

Name: Melampus
Race: Dunmer
Class: Cleric
Age: 22
Level: 61
Description: Still a young Dark Elf. He has enchanted clothes and glass armor. He wears an Expensive robe over his armor so he doesn't attract attention. Quite the attractive type for a Dunmer.

Story: Melampus was traveling in Vivec looking for some ingrediants for a stew that he was going to make for next weeks dinner. He went into the Foreign Quarter as he glanced down at the ground. He looked puzzeled. He thought should he pick it up or leave it. "Oh well he said." as he picked up the tattered note. He read the note. "What strange ramblings." He thought that the person that wrote it must be crazy. But he wondered if he should find this cave. As he left the foriegn quarter with his ingrediants, he saw the sun setting and he gazed into it. He closed his eyes and saw the shape of a dog. He thought that this was a sign and decided to search for this cave instead of going back to his house. Luckily he stocked up for this and had enough food to last many days.

Reichi strolled through the streets of Balmora.Sticking out rather well in his Dark Brotherhood armor.A breton aproached him and handed him a note.Reichi raised a eyebrow and read it.When he finished he looked up and saw the man had gone.Reichi wondered what this meant, and why he had been given the note.Though given the style of the note, the "Dog" probally refered to Sheogorath, and the Road, Sheogorath's golden road of Insanity. How he could follow a road that existed only as a expression to some cave, was beyound him.But his curiosity and lack of anything better to do made him want to try and find it.

Reichi's next stop was the eight Plates, where he could learn of this...cave.

"This isn't going to be easy," Mirror said. The handsome Breton was lightly glazed with sweat, still breathing hard from his trip through the Void. "It would be easier if the destruction wasn't so... complete. In the case of Markarth I'm having to ask people from all over who is MISSING."

"Fifteen new names, then?' Allerleirauh said. "Hilba the Tall, Agenor Vineripper..."

As she read off each name, she copied it onto a scroll. She was making a list. A list of everyone left dead as a result of Loranna's sojourn in Skyrim. Such a list would be needed, later.

"You should talk to that Ciel fellow," Mirror said. "He took notes the whole way."

"I assumed you had already."

"Not me! I think the fellow's been driven barking mad by too many scenes of death and destruction and too much futility. Cultivating mad people is YOUR hobby, not mine." Mirror grinned, showing his perfect, even teeth.

Doll entered. "There's a letter for you - a strange letter, delivered to the door of the Guildhouse. And a letter for Arynel."

Allerleirauh looked up from her writing. "Arynel? They wrote Arynel here? Do we even know how to find him? Is Mirea still watching him?"

The others in the room - Dragon, Mirror, and Doll - exchanged glances. Allerleirauh knew they had been keeping her out of the loop, forcing her to rest, and was allowing it. Many things needed doing. They had Plans again. Her materials were taking time to procure.

"He's in the north of Cyrodiil," Mirror said slowly. "Mirea and I have been spelling each other, watching him. Shall I take the letter to her, and let her give it to him?"

"I..." Allerleirauh bit her lip, then grinned at her subordinates. It was hard for her to trust people; delegating authority felt, to her, like standing on a rug that someone was preparing to snatch from under her feet.

"Right," said Mirror. "I'll be back in a heartbeat."

Allerleirauh opened the letter, and read. "Mirror... wait."

Several minutes later, Mirea stepped out of the Void. Arynel was sleeping; she dropped the letter on his slowly moving chest, then leaned down and blew a sharp breath into his face to awaken him.

"You've got mail," the red headed Bosmer girl said. "And I'm supposed to sit here while you read it."

(ooc: not sure who's showing up for this party yet!)

Posted by: Arynel Nov 25 2004, 07:07 AM

Arynel felt a sharp blast of air in his face, and his eyes sprung open.

"What?" The Breton began. "You! What are you doing here?"

He sees the letter.'

"And what is this?"

Arynel sits up and opens the letter to read it.

The Dunmer thought this might be some kind of riddle, so he went to the Library of Vivec to look up some lore on dog related stories. He found nothing.

He thought that maybe someone from the guild might know of something about a dog or some kind of cave related to this dog. He once again returned to the Foriegn Quarter. He entered the Mages Guild and started to ask around for some clues...

Posted by: Allerleirauh Nov 25 2004, 07:13 AM

"The General says she's coming," Mirea said to Arynel, when he had finished the letter. "But not right away. She's making more stuff, and she's not done yet. So she asked me to go with you. Aren't you the lucky boy?"

Posted by: Arynel Nov 25 2004, 07:15 AM

"The General?" Arynel asked, looking up at Mirea.

The Breton folded the letter and placed it in his pocket, and stood up.

Posted by: Meridia Nov 25 2004, 07:19 AM

Name: He-who-hunts-elves
Race: Argonian
Class: Agent

He-who-hunts-elves was born in northern Argonia, where he was captured and taken to the slave market, purchased by a wealthy House Dres noble, who decided to use him as an agent to help dig up information on his rivals. This paticular noble was a worshiper of the Daedric Prince, Meridia, and was contacted by her to hunt down the Moon Reiver Sword and the Curiass of the Saviors Hide. Having recovered the Sword, the noble then had He-who-hunts-elves attempt to steal the armour from its current owner. The poor argonian as captured, and the noble fled with the sword. He was later released by a strange young Breton, named Maranda, who paid his bail. Ever since then, he has followed this young girl around in her quest for the Armour. Having receved a tip off from a certian indervidual in Blacklight that by trading somthing of equal value to the current owner, he may be willing to part from it... and then he receved a letter instructing him to go to the "Cave of the Dog" Maranda, staying behind in the safety of Blacklight, hands her Argonian Servant a large amount of gold in which to purchase certian items of use...
[So Maranda is staying out of this one, her servant is taking part... perhaps. His goal is to find somthing valuble to trade for the Curiass of the Saviours Hide... that is all]

"General Light. You know, Allerleirauh. The one sewing her fingers off for you." Mirea made a kissing noise, then burst out laughing. "Oh, this is going to be fun. Race you to the cave."

Her method of getting into the Void was one Arynel hadn't seen before; she jumped high, then disappeared as she hit the ground.

Name: Mirea
Race: Bosmer
Class: Edge Walker (a Void Ranger specializing in geometry exploits)
Description: Mirea wears a bright green cloak over red lacquered hide armor. She has bright red hair, freckles, and extremely green eyes.

As he heads out the door he feels a slight bump in his pocket. He reached into his pocket only to find some sweet pulp. He thought how did this get here and why it was there. There isn't any sweet pulp in Vvardenfell, only on the mainland. He thought of this as a clue and decided to take the first boat to the mainland ASAP.

Obviosly, people in the guild aren't as intelligent as they think. May the should do some training. ( lol )

Reichi had gotten no decent answer in the Eight Plates. He suddenly realized what would be a much better place. He ran off towards the silt strider and boarded it.Booking passage to Vivec, if there was anything t be learned. It was in vivec, the city was huge.Informants were numerous, and there was the library.

Granted the Library was very Tribunal-oreinted.Reichi didn't care for the Tribunal. They never had a affect on his life. The Daedrawere much more tangible, which is why he tended to be interested in thing of a Daedric nature.

Melampus found a commercial boat line that would take him to the mainland but wouldn't leave until tomorrow evening. He paid the captain the gold for the ride and decided to get a bed to sleep in for the night. He could find none so he pulled out a pillow and slept against a near by tree. He thought this would be a long night, and indeed it was.

He had a dream about a man but this man was able to transform into a dog. The strange thing is the setting of the dream was on the boat. This dog had an amazing white coat. What could this dream mean? .....

Sekka had changed his mind about Ald Daedroth when Dumac took off. Sekka chased Dumac until he finally found him at the port, on the boat for the mainland. Sekka jumped on the boat and noticed something tucked behind Dumac's collar...it was a note.

Posted by: w0nders Nov 25 2004, 09:12 AM

Dante stepped off the siltstrider at Ald'Ruhn aaaahhhh, finally home He thought to himself stepping down from the port and heading towards his house "Here we are" he says to himself knocking on the door....shortly after the door swings open and an old, warn Dunmer woman opens it "Yeah, what do you want?" she sneers...."M-mother? it's me Dante" The old woman's eyes shoot open "Dante! Illidan come quickly Dante's back!" She grabbed him by the arm and dragged him into the house. Shortly another Dunmer walks in patting Dante on the back "It's good to see you again brother" Says the Dunmer "Yes, it's good to see you to Illidan" After further small talk the three sit down at the table and begin to eat "So Dante, Tell us of your adventures thus far" says the old woman "Hm, where to begin....OH!" And Dante begins telling his family of his happenings. After Dinner Dante makes his way to his bedroom where he notices a note has been slipped under the door, "Hm, it's addressed to me" He says aloud "I'm too tired now, I'll read it in the morning" and at that he falls down asleep on his bed.....Shortly after, Illidan walks in and picks up the letter Hm...I wonder what it says He thinks to himself....shortly after reading it he collects his gear and heads to the door, letter in hand I've let you be hurt before Dante, and I won't let that happen again and at that he heads out the door on a search for information

*Erenius lay awake in his bed at his Tavern in Black Light*

"That Argonian may be useful, but I know not how," Erenius mumbles just before Azure enters the room.

"Sir, a note..from a 'Senser'," he says as he hands it over.

"Interesting proposition...but where exactly is this 'Cave of the Dog?'" Erenius mutters as he finishes the letter "Best take this invitation and think it over."

*The next day, Erenius makes preparations to send Azure in his place, should something come up*

"As you wish," Azure says.

(I'll be using Azure as my RP character here)

[Info:

Name: Azure Allant
Race: Imperial
Class: mounted warrior
Weap/Armor: steel riding broadsword, iron riding spear, heavy leather riding armor
Clothing: plain woolen shirt and cloak
Age: 38
Hair: Medium-length black hair]

Posted by: Anona Nov 25 2004, 05:44 PM

Name: Anon (Rest unknown)
Race: Breton
Class: Mage

Description: Anon wears a long dark blue robe, and a single ring. His hair is brown, short and neat. When he moves in a certain direction, a small Dwemer shortsword is visible, apart from that no weaponry or armour can be seen. Following Anon is a small Scamp, carrying a brown sack. The Scamp wears a enchanted bracelet on his right arm.

Info: Anon is a Mage, a fairly good one, and a member of the Mages Guild, like other Mages he researches things and knows the Schools of Destruction, . Following him around is a Scamp who carries basically all his things. The scamp wears a bracelet that limits his strength, stops him using magicka, and also has a spell on which allows Anon to teleport to the Scamp whenever needed. The bracelet can only be removed by Anon or a strong unlocking spell. It is alike the ones used by slavers. The Scamp was not summoned, but found by Anon in a Deadric Ruin.

-----------------------------------------------

Anon sat in the corner of the Ald'Rhun Mage's Guild, on a table with his books and studies out in front of him. His quill moved across a sketch of some Dwemer machinery, as the Mage tried to work out what some of the stranger parts meant.

"Scampy? Give me the...tube." Anon looked up and spoke to the Scamp. The Deadria rummaged around in his bag, and picked out a long rusty Dwemer tube. He lay it on the table. Anon handed the Scamp a small Kwama Egg, which was quickly devoured.

Anon got back to his work. After another few minutes the Mage looked up again to hand the Scamp back the tube. Just in front of his work a small note had appeared, though Anon had been too buried in his work to see who, if anyone, had dropped off the note. He looked around, but the only other person in the room was a old Monk putting some old books back in their place.

"Did you put this here?" He looked at the scamp who was glaring around the room and muttering. The Scamp replied with a strange "Errrrrriighhhhh!" and shook it's head. Taking that as a "No" Anon picked up the note and looked through it. He dropped the strange message in the Scamps' bag, along with the Dwemer things. He stood up and wondered whether he should see what he could do with the Message, ask someone, ignore it, or take a trip elsewhere.

He knew the Monk was deaf, so he didn't bother asking him. His curiosity got the better of him, and he decided to go out looking for what the Message was all about.

Wavedancer swayes slightly, as it enters the
harbour of Blacklight. Sails go down, ropes are thrown to the harbourmen, then Wavedancer is fastened tight on the quay wall. Workers begin to load and unload supplies and wares from all over Tamriel.

Nalion stands at the railing, gazing over the stone quays, asking himself if he should wander off in the city for an hour or wait until the ship sets sail again...

Then, his eyes make out a familiar figure, standing forlorn on the quay, obviously looking for something.

Eyes wideneing as he recognized the man, Nalion shouts "Ho, Azure! You looking for something?"

"A 'Senser'? Cave of the Dog? Haven't heard of that. Where might that be? Wait a moment..."
Nalion turns and walks over to Captain Rindral, speaking with him. After a short conversation with lots of nodding and a small pouch changing its owner, Nalion returns to Azure.

"I should have known it earlier... Our good captain here has more knowledge than he might tell those port officials over there." Nalion tells with a smile, "It seems this cave is on mainland Morrowind. The captain thinks that we will pass a beach soon, where we might debark. It should not be far from there. This story of the 'Senser' might be interesting..."
Nalion's voice gets serious "You, Erenius and your company have offered help to me a while ago, it is time that I return the favour. If you need my help, I could join you..."

Azure says, obviously pissed off with the situation. "But all is behind us. Erenius is going to stay here for the time being, awaiting something, and I'm to go and fulfill this letter."

Character Name: Misha
Age: 34
Class: Rogue/Horsemen(Think Cossack)
Race: The Kozkjak tribe in central Morrowind, Human tribe

Misha sat up in his bedroll. He looked around at his small tent. He opened the tent to the fresh wilderness of Vvardenfell. Just as he was about to set on the saddle to his horse, Chernamazm, he noticed something to his feet. He looked down. It was a note. Quickly, Misha grabbed is sheath, and unsheathed his Sablii Shashqa He looked around. Nothing was stolen. After making sure no one was around, he decided to resheath his Shashqa He wondered, where could this note have come from? He was alone, and no one in his tribe would know exactly where he is. He picked up the note.

Cave of the dog..hmmm He mused to himself. He decided he would check this out at the local town, however, he did not wish to sit inside Vos or Tel Vos. He never liked the town, so unhospitable. He decided to go around Vos and get a boat ride to the western part of Vvardenfell.

Misha set his saddle on his black horse. He grabbed his leather cuirass, slipped it over his head, then put his jacket over it. He then put on his warm fur boots, and warm rabbit fur Ushanka. After rolling up hsi tent and bedroll, he put the pack on the back of his horse, and hopped on the horse.

He headed, to Vos.

OOC: just to let everyone know, my character is.. ok picture him as a Russian Don Cossack, with the big fur hats, and your set. The background story is that the Kozkjak tribe is an old horsemen tribe in mainland morrowind of humans who migrated there decades before.

Ushanka is a big russian fur hat

Sablii Shashqa is a Cossack sword(http://www.geocities.com/kosta45/S05.htm)

It translates to Sword(or maybe even Sabre) Shashqa, which is its name. Pronounced Sh-a-shka

"I haven't participated in the battle, either. Though I regret this now. I had been wandering off in the nearby woods to collect some ingredients for potions when all the fighting started. I raced back, but came too late, finding only the remains of the battlefield."

Nalions voice gets grave.
"It is sad to hear of the fate of your - and my - companions. May their souls find peace and rest." Nalions eyes close for a moment.

"I see, the ship sets sail again. We will find this Cave of the Dog and explore what's behind this mysterious 'senser'."

With that, Wavedancer undocks from the quay and heads south...

Posted by: Celezar Nov 25 2004, 06:48 PM

Name: Celezar (the mad)
Gender: Male
Race: Khajiit
Age: Unkown
Class/Profession: Advocate of Possession

Appearance: The looming Khajiit ressembles that of an old tiger, its lean, powerful body wrapped and hidden within a black cloak. Beneath the hood the muzzle of a tiger's mouth pokes out, and behind that a pair of fiery feline eyes blaze like two rubies. The Khajiit's fingers end in wicked looking claws, each one yellow and crooked due to a lack of hygene.

Some history on the Advocates of Possession: Of late, the influence of Sheogorath has been growing widely, the powers of the mighty prince forcing madness down the throats of helpless followers through many revolting methods. Radical wizards and mages have classified this as a divine form of possession, maddened ones preaching that it is the highest form of ascension and compliment a mortal can receive. Advocates of Possession are the widely popular (among Sheogorath followers) enforcers of these harsh laws of madness, taking possessed thralls for there sick amusement and for the delight of there mad lord.

*Celezar rises from his praying position and stares ominously into space* "Dear Sekka, what has driven you to this little game of hide and seek so close to the final hour?" *Celezar hums a faint tune* "Never the less, I do so wish to be reunited with all my little puppets once more. What delicious fun!"

Dur’el walks out of an inn in Balmora, dressed in the finest clothes ever seen on a Redguard. Kasha follows him out looking equally stunning in a blood, red dress.

Dur’el inhales deep, and then exhales. “Ah, Morrowind. This place smells like the bad end of a Guar.”

Kasha elbows Dur’el and replies. “Show some respect. This is the home of my people.”

Dur’el, smiles. “Exactly, since when does a Dunmer know how to do anything, but smell bad, and disregard oral hygiene?”

“You’re such an spotted owl.” Kasha says.

“Shut up.” Dur’el replies.

“Why don’t you shut up?” Kasha snaps back.

“No, you!”

A Dunmer in plain clothes walks by, and hears their conversation.

“Why don’t you both shut up?” The Dunmer says in a deep, raspy, voice.

Dur’el turns to say something to the Dunmer, but Kasha stops him.

“I’ll handle this.” Kasha says walking up to the Dunmer.

Upon getting to the Dunmer Kasha quickly kicks him in the genitals, which causes the poor Dunmer to drop down to his knees instantly. She then checks her dress and makes sure she didn’t get any dirt on it, brushes it off, and then starts to walk back to Dur’el. Dur’el then walks up to the downed Dunmer, and takes his drakes out of his pocket. They both then start walking off like nothing happened.

“Thank you, Kasha.” Dur’el says.

“No problem.” Kasha replies.

As they are walking off Dur’el takes a deep breath and exclaims. “Look out everyone! Dur’el is in Morrowind!!”

“Oh, brother.” Kasha mumbles under her breath, as she covers her face.

Posted by: Allerleirauh Nov 25 2004, 10:20 PM

Allerleirauh lay with her head on Mirror’s chest.

“Do you love me?” he asked, his chin pressing against the top of her head as he looked down at her.

“Not really,” she said. “But I’m very grateful to you.” She lifted her head to look at him. “Tris? You’re not serious?”

“Me? No. I was thinking of putting it on my resume. Surveillance expert, message service, boyfriend of convenience. I’m flattered, really.”

She studied his handsome, boyish face; she could never tell when he was kidding. Finally she said, “You should be.”

This had the desired result; his eyes went wide and he grabbed for her. Squeaking, she dove under the covers, reemerging on the far side of the great bed.

At that moment, Dragon entered.

“You two smell like a crate of ferrets,” he commented mildly, setting a tray containing bread, cheese, and two steaming mugs of mulled cider on her bedside table. He took one of the mugs for himself.

“Don’t I get breakfast?” Mirror said. “I work hard.”

Dragon ignored him. “I have the estimates for the work you want done on the hospice in Snowhawk,” he said to Allerleirauh. “I thought you’d want to see them before you made any decisions.”

“Before breakfast?” Allerleirauh asked, fumbling her arm into her dressing gown. “Tris, you exhibitionist, put something on.”

Dragon handed her a wax covered tablet filled with figures.

“This is…this is a lot of money,” she said, scanning it. “A LOT of money. Can we do this?”

“No,” Dragon said. “Not even with optimistic projections for your ebony interests in Solstheim.”

“Well…hmm.”

“I could go out adventuring and get some cash,” he said, smiling. Dragon’s smile was wonderful; whatever accident in the Void had gutted his emotional repertoire had not touched his smile. “I’m old but not so old that I can’t earn my keep.”

“Chasing phantom bears out of old ladies’ attics won’t pay for this,” Mirror said, looking over Allerleirauh’s shoulder.

“Besides, I need you here,” Allerleirauh said. “You have that look, what are you thinking?”

“Look at these,” Dragon said, handing her a sheaf of papers with notes. “Properties in Dawnstar, damaged or destroyed by the explosion. I took the liberty of sending some workmen as soon as it happened; also I’ve arranged for shipments of lumber and stone. But this is what I need your signature on.”

It was a contract with the King of Dawnstar. Her interests would handle the rebuilding.

“I’ve purchased a lot of very valuable property on the cheap; heirs dead, companies destroyed, people who needed ready cash,” Dragon said. “We can make a small fortune here.”

“It doesn’t seem quite ethical to blow the place up then profit from rebuilding it,” Allerleirauh said.

“Someone will get that contract; why not you? Why not someone who’s planning to use the money to build a hospice in Snowhawk and a foundation for the orphans in Dragon Bridge, instead of someone who wants to build a palace in Cyrodiil?”

“You drive the Devil’s own bargain,” Allerleirauh said, signing. “But you’re right, as usual.”

“There’s more. Your artificer with the ebony says it’s ready for pickup. He sent the letter by way of the Mages’ Guild. He offered to send the ebony by way of the Mages’ Guild too, but I told him we’d arrange for pickup.”

“I think that’s best,” Allerleirauh said. “Best not to tempt them past the limits of their endurance. Tris?”

“Just let me get my boots on,” Mirror said. A moment later, he was gone.

He returned with a large satchel. “Here.”

Inside were spools of ebony, drawn so fine that they could be used as thread. Allerleirauh unwound a length and draped it over her hand. “Oh! It’s heavy. Strange. And it’s COLD. I’m not sure anyone will want to wear this.”

Dragon had the neutral expression of one who knew how much money she had spent on it.

“It’s pretty,” Mirror said, flopping on his belly on the bed. “Be even prettier when you’re done with it.”

“I was thinking of putting it inside the lining, hidden,” she said. “He’s not much of a fop. I wish I knew what to work it with; I wish I were my mother. She took her best secrets with her when she died. I don’t know how to weave sunbeams into the shape of a lily.”

“Why not?” Dragon asked. “Think like Arynel thinks. You can know whatever you choose to know.”

She shook her head. That was all fine to say.

“Come now, princess,” Dragon said. “This one’s EASY. As above, so below. Doesn’t Nirn weave sunbeams into lilies every day? This is SIMPLE magic.”

“You’re a jerk,” she told him. But he was also right, as usual. “I need… Loranna said we’d stop at the place where I was born. And then we never did. I think I need to go there.”

"Your a Idiot Rei."Stated the breton boy flatly.

"Wha?Why?"Reichi saidwith some surprise.

"If you want to find a Sheogorath...place...you find a worshiper. They

always know."The boy said, leaning again the edge of the Foreign Quarter canton's railing.

"I suspose that makes sense Tohe."Reichi responded rubbing his chin."Where would any be?"

"St. Delyn's sewers."Tohe responed.

"And you know his...how?"

"Well i dun got a fancy ring like you.Them being so close to home. Its like take out."

"Oh...hah.There better be some left for me to question still."

"Sure is."

"Ima going then."

With that reichi head off to the St. delyn canton.Upon arriving there he entered it and headed down into the sewers. He pulls the Dark Brotherhood helmet from his bag and placed it on his head.the helm's eyepiece had a nighteye enchament, helpful considering the proffession of its previous owner.Soon enough, Reichi came upon a door to a the Shrine.

He opened the door...

From Ald'Rhun, the Breton made his way by teleportation to Sadrith Mora, Mage-City of the Telvanni. If anyone knew where the "Cave of the Dog" was on Vvardenfell, it would be in Sadrith Mora. A better question was, would any Telvanni speak to a Mage's Guild member, when they rarely speak to any normal person.

As soon as he arrived in Wolverine Hall he was greeted with a friendly voice.

"Frrrriend?" A robe wearing Khajiit greeted him. The Khajiit was called Marrseh, and a good friend of Anon. The Khajiit was a Nightblade, and secretly in the Thieves Guild as well. If he publicised that he was in the Mages Guild, he would be less suspected of thievery. He also got the training he needed magically for a Nightblade.

"Ah, Marrseh, how are you?" Behind Anon the Scamp appeared from the teleporting pad. The Kahjiits ears poked up and it hissed.

"It's just Scampy. Anyway, Marrseh, do you know a place called "The Cave of the Dog"?"

"Khajiit has heard of no such place. Mabye the Breton wishes to go to the Mainland, many caves there, not so many dogs."

After a brief goodbye, the Breton decided it would be good to follow the Khajitts advice and head to the Mainland. It had been a while since he had been back, he wondered vaughly how the great Houses were doing there.

Anon walked invisible to the dock to avoid being spat on by Telvanni. He took a boat to Vivec, back where he started, and walked round the Cantons using water walking. The Mage's Guild didn't teleport to the mainland. Would he get transport in the
Temple, Telvanni, or the Forgien Quarter Cantons? Or even un-official transport from in St.Delyn or Saint Olms? This was confusing.

Anon stopped off at St.Olms to catch his breath and prepare another water walking spell. He walked around looking for a boatman to tell him where transport could be found.

Posted by: Arynel Nov 25 2004, 11:26 PM

Arynel emerged from the void, the Breton whispered a phrase of power to repair whatever had been shattered.

He was somewhere in the Deshaan Plain.

"Now, where is this place?" The Breton asked himself.

Arynel stood silently for a time, scratching his chin. The Breton spoke like a babbling stream.

Mystery the road before
Ever unknown
And revealed by steps
Bound by bound
Marked with stones
And ever winding round
To venture onto new horizons...

A moment later Mirea emerged from the Void next to Arynel.

"Darn. You beat me."

She looked around, for either a dog or a cave.

Posted by: Anona Nov 25 2004, 11:53 PM

Anon found the Mage he was looking for in Saint Olms. After a large sum of money, and a grunt from the Mage, Anon was in Almalexia.

It was a while since he had last left Morrowind, and the unfarmilliar faces were threatening. Anon pushed through the city to the gate. He was no closer to finding his Dog of Caves or
Cave of Dogs, he may as well give up.

Anon walked out of the gateway into a the wilds of Morrowind. He disapeared into the hostile enviroment to find the cave. Anon stopped in the wild, and sat on a rock. Scampy walked up next to him and started chewing a Scrib.

He was no closer to the Cave than when he had started out. Anon desided he would do better to forget about it all and go back to the Mage's Guild. He took out the note he had first recived and read it again. "Come to your senses..." Anon stood up and realised he was trying to find the Cave wrong. He needed to follow his own sences, and not ask others.

As he stood there, he felt a string of Magic in the air. He felt something, and he knew he could follow it. He jumped up, grabbed the Scamp and used a odd spell he had learnt a while back from a thief, "Random Recall". Him and his sack-wielding Scamp disapeared into the air.

Misha steps off the boat. He is now at Vivec. He takes his belongings and his horse and walks him off the boat.

He looks around. Looming on the right is the giant silt strider he had heard about. It was an enormous beast.

He looked over at Vivec. He didn't feel to confortable walking in there, so he decided to setup camp right outside of Vivec.

He started his fire.

He wondered if anyone knew anything about this
Cave of Dog. He would not like to go alone on this... excursion, as he put it in his mind.

Vvardenfell was still new to him... he'd have to get used to it...

"Are you drunk lad? Your in Dagon Fel. Another useless Mage for reasearching the Dwemer are we? Ha! Not a true profession, give me a sword over a scroll anyday. No Mage I know..."

The Nord blabbered off into ramblings. So he was all the way back on Vvardenfell! Well, this was where his sences led him, the cave must be nearby.

After asking around Vivec Foreign Quarter, Misha gave up.

He boarded a silt strider to Balmora and was there in no time with his horse, Chernamazm.

In Balmora, people looked at him oddly. This, other then Vivec, was the largest town he had been to. He went to a nearby building.

Misha's reading was bad, but he sounded out the sign.

"Kown-sil Cloob" He sounded out.

He decided he might aswell walk in. He needed a drink of Sujamma. He hadn't had sujamma in a long time.

Misha walks in. A Dark Elf, or "Chiornii Elf" as his tribe called them, came up to him. He gave him a really wicked look. Misha didn't understand it.

He walked over to the bar. He asks for a glass of sujamma. The Bartender snorts.

"Vat iz rong?" Says Misha

"We don't like outlanders here" says the Bartender scornfully.

The bartender refuses to sell Misha a drink. Misha walks out in confusion. Outside he walks around the city. He then notices he is being stalked.

He runs over to where his horse is tied up to, just as he jumps on the saddle, the man jumps and pulls him off.

He falls to the floor with a large thump. Instinctively, Misha takes out his Shashqa.

The masked man takes a wild stab which Misha dodges, then with a large chop, that gouges deep into the mans collar bone, he fells the assailant to the floor, bleeding profusely.

Misha sheaths his shasqa and takes out his dagger. He puts it to the mans neck and demands to know who sent him. But before he could say anything, the man dies.

A House Hlaalu guard comes running over just as Misha gets on his saddle. The Hlaalu guard demands that Misha get off.

Misha knows that the Hlaalu guard thinks he murdered this man. Knowing how outlanders were treated, Misha goes to a full gallop off. The Hlaalu guard yells a command. Then two Hlaalu guards blocked the bridge over to the other side. Misha goes ar full gallop. His horse smashes one Hlaalu guard with his shoulder into the shallow river, Misha, with a quick downward slash, takes the Hlaalu's arm out, which was slashing a long sword. The Hlaalu guard screams in pain and falls to the ground.

Misha goes at full gallop up north. The Guards try and follow him but to no avail. Misha finally decides to stop. He walks into a town called, "Kaldera" as he pronounced it.

He decides to rent a room at the Shenk's Shovel for the night...

After a restful night Misha decides to go north. He needed money, and the Ashlander tribes were an easy target.

On the way to Ald Ruhn, he saw an unexpected sight.

It was around 5 other Horsemen. He wondered, he thought Dunmer dont ride horses.

Then his eyes went wide with surprise.

It was some fellow tribesmen! He waved to them and they met up.

After some re-acquantanceship, they talked about why they were there. They too got a weird note while in Gnaar mok.

After awhile they decided to go raid the Urshilaku camp.

Many a fortnight later, they arrived to the Ruins. After slashing down some pesky Scamps, they saw the camp.

Misha blew his horn, and the Cavalry did an all out charge at the camp.

Some men from the camp came out with swords, daggers and spears. A few tried casting spells but they missed each time. Misha unsheathed his Shashqa and disembowled the first person to his right.

After much bloodshed, Misha dismounted and they went and grabbed as much loot and plunder as they could, knowing that the elders there were powerful if provoked. They grabbed it has quick as they could. Everyone mounted except, for poor Maxim.

Maxim wanted to try and take this small gold statue, but it was stuck. We told him to leave it, but he didnt want to. Just then, a man appeared from a hut.

Maxim took out his Shashqa, and charged the man. The man whispered a few incantations and a large fireball flew from his hands and into Maxim, who fell to the floor sharply. I knew I could beat him, but my other tribesmen were weak and I did not wish to risk their lives to such an extent. I took out my hunting bow, ordered my men to retreat, and I shot two arrows into the man. The first hit him in the leg, it did not penetrate his skin for his magic was strong, but it did knock him off his feet, the second hit him in the chest and sent him flying a couple feet back. I then turned my horse and I gallopped away....

Later We went to Khuul. My party and I seperated but agreed to meet later on in Caldera. I boarded a boat to Dagon Fell to see if the local wizards knew anything.

I looked gleefully at my loot.

I had looted around 6,000 worth of gold pieces.

I was very happy, and i whistled all the way to dagon fel...

*Erenius then leaves the Temple Canton, locks the doors to his rooms in Delyn and Olms before depositing the keys at a private vault in the Foreign Quarter*

(lol)

Jahal heard a knock on his door. He got up and went to the door, he opened it, seeing nothing around his small manor, located approximately 5 miles due north of Vivec, 7 miles north of Ebonheart. He then saw something out of his perfreal(sp) vision. He looked down. There was some writing on a small piece of paper. He picked it up, his eyes still roaming the area to make sure there were no Dark Bretheren around. One could not be too careful. He had learned that after his brother, Jalo, had been killed by a Dark Brotherhood assassain, for having ties to the Morag Tong. Those ties had been him, Jahal. Jahal was a high ranked assassain in the Morag Tong. He had also killed around 10 Dark Bretheren. He read the note. It said to go to the "cave of the Dog". He went back inside, puzzled. He figured he would search out this place. After all, there wasn't a need for any assassainations currently. He strapped on his Netch Leather Armor, he also strapped on his Devil Tanto onto his back. He packed a small pack, which had in it his Master Lockpick and Probe, 1,000 gold, a few changes of clothes and his Master's repair hammer and repair tongs. He was ready to go.

The horrible woman stands up right a straightens her back, which creates and upleasent cracking noise. Though half dead and coated in sea sludge, she bears a regal, almost arrogant manner. "Come to your senses? Quite contrare, dear Sekka, mad minds think alike, no sense involved! Delicious!" the puppet woman exclaims in a voice clearly not her own, as it is male and somewhat different than what one would expect from her race. She trudges accross the island, searching for the promised entrance.

Samuel dove into the blue and swam into an underwater cave. Inside a hidden gorotto he found an old robe.

The flying Dreugh took the robe in his clawed hand and swam back out. He emerged from the water and placed the cloak over his body.

Samuel, hovering just slightly so he could move with the edge of the robe touching the ground, heads towards Vivec.

(OOC: *Shrugs* Your problem now isnt it? Even my arch nemisis, Dagoth can maturely handle a game. Its funny because your profile says your twenty while you cant even spell sugar right....I'm sorry, I usualy dont burst out like this, but Two Tails has a distinct attitude problem that I dont realy understand.)

The woman strains her neck to a abnormal extent, obviously feeling no pain by doing so. "Come out come out, wherever you are..." she hisses in a sickly tone.

Jahal walked out of his manor and went due south, to Vivec. When he got to the outskirts, he readied himself for a recall spell. He cast it. He looked around, he was just outside of Grandmaster Hlaalo's room under the Arena. He walked in and knelt down.

"My most exalted lord, I will be away for a while, as I have some business to attend to. I will hurry back and resume my work as soon as I can."

"You better hurry, you are my best assassain." said Hlaalo.

"I promise, my liege."

Jahal gracefully stepped out of the room and used a teleportation spell. He was immediately transported to Khuul. He went to the docks and found a small boat, headed for the mainland. He was only going to the mainland on a small hunch. He slept while waiting for the boat to reach the Mainland.

*Azure sits below decks, wonderring when they will disembark, seeing as how they should be nearby to the beach*

"Damn them...damn them all..." Azure mutters as he leans against the railing, looking North, seeing Dagoth Ur's presense against the sky a stark contrast to blueish-grey sea and brown land to their other directions.

Melampus wakes up to find that his boat is leaving without him.
"Wait!" he yelled. The boat was still going. He decided the only way to get to the mainland was that boat so he had to catch up. He cast a water walking spell and ran after it. He caught up and jumped on board.

( he has a high acrobatics skill )

"Thanks for waiting." Melampus said to the ships captain.
"I'm sorry but I had to go. I have supplies that can't be delivered late." he replied.
"Whatever." said Melampus.

The boat ride was long so to keep himself occupied he practiced his telekinisis by picking up crates and such.

OOC:

Okay, here's how it goes, if we're gonna do these RP's, we've all got to make sure we respect eachother, otherwise this isn't gonna happen.

First of all, everyone can play in an RP, and they can have whatever type of character they want, so long as it fits in with the lore.

Second, no matter what type of character you have, no matter how powerful, you have to respect the other characters, and give them a chance to defend themselves, interact with you, etc.

Thanks.

Name: Sadthina
Class: Assassin
Race: Human
Weapon: Various Daggers, Darts.
Appearance: You'll never know. Always wears his mask

Background: Commoner, But secretly member of the Dark Brotherhood

--------------------------------------------------

The final dart flew through my fingers. In a perfect trajectory, it went inbetween his helmet and cuirass to hit the perfect spot in his neck. He staggered and fell to the floor, bleeding. I took out my Tanto and jabbed it straight into his heart. Ending his spasms.

I used his shirt to clean off the blood on my Darts and Tanto. I resheathed my Tanto in its leg-sheath, and I donned my large robe.

I stepped outside the window, and walked back into town. I took off my helmet and placed it into my pouch. I went back to the inn where I grabbed a room for the night...

On my doorstep was an odd note... I slipped it in my pocket and stepped into the Inn for the night.

The following day I walked into a man.

He whispered to me: "I know who you are"

I paused, ignoring him

He whispered again "Follow me"

I followed him to a dark alley.

"Now, I will keep your secret if you do me a favour. I need you to assasinate a Blades' Member here in Balmora. I won't pay you anything, but I will keep your secret. Don't worry, its save with me-"

I took the iniative and unsheathed my tanto with speed and jabbed it into his unprotected neck. The weakest spot was his neck, for he was armoured almost head to toe. He gurgled and I caught him as he fell to the floor. I stripped him and put his armour in my bag. I also took any money that he had.

I went to the local smith and sold his armour....

Later that day I did my daily routines... still thinking, about the note.

OOC: ok, this will be my first course of interaction, Melampus and I are on the same boat, headed for the Mainland.

IC: Jahal raised an eyelid, hearing a crate hitting the deck of the boat near him. He looked at the crate with mild curiosity. He then, in turn, looked at the person that had used telekinesis on the crate. He judged the person, easily, using the skill he had learned and perfected in the 2 years he had been with the Morag Tong. The person looked to be of about a little more than medium strength. He figured it would be someone to watch out for, just in case he was ever in need of the person's services, which could be brought easily by his dagger, the Blade of the Cobra's Fury, at the base of the person's skull.

Posted by: Meridia Nov 26 2004, 04:51 AM

Since Meridia's mortal vessel, Sarah, managed to get a job, He-who-hunts-elves will most proberly not be turning up, getting lost on the way, and scolded by Maranda... Happy RPing, everyone
