Elder Scrolls Forums _ Elder Scrolls Lore _ RP: Morrowind Moonlight
Posted by: Loranna Yesterday, 12:27 AM
Hello, and welcome to our Elder Scrolls Role Playing threads,
where we adventure and socialize in the vibrant land of Tamriel.
Before we begin, we'd like to clarify a few things:
This is an 'open roleplay' and everyone is encouraged to join in at any time!
'Open' roleplay does not mean 'unorganized' or 'limitless', however. The events
in this story are usually planned, and if something BIG happens, you can be
certain that it is the result of much discussion between players, usually in
the mIRC chat (#Loranna_RP). This is not just a bunch of disorganized
individuals doing what they think would be fun for their character at the time.
So, while everyone is welcome to join in, they are NOT welcome to jump in and
do big, world-changing things without DISCUSSING IT FIRST. Let me be very clear
about what cannot be done without permission:
1:
Any action that effects another person's character, for ill or good. Although
most people realize they can't harm another person's character without
permission, many don't realize that you can't HELP another character without
permission, either. Many characters have flaws for a reason. Don't go healing,
saving, or otherwise fixing another character without DISCUSSING IT FIRST with the
player involved.
2:
Any event that would drastically change things that have been done to the
world, whether the change is physical (rebuilding destroyed locations),
political (converting a population to a new cause), military (killing off all
the badguys) or anything else. Almost every situation, good or bad, that exists
in the RP was done for some reason. Don't go changing or fixing things without
DISCUSSING IT FIRST with the group.
Everyone who is involved in the RP is welcome in the mIRC chat channel
#Loranna_RP. If you have a plot idea then you are encouraged to go there and
discuss it. If you cannot get on the channel for some reason, or if the player
whos character you would affect with your plan is not there, then PM them using
this board's PM function. That's what it's there for.
For information on reaching #Loranna_RP via Mirc or Chatspike, look
http://www.ravensky.org/irc/.
Not following the above advice will only result in one thing: your post is
likely to be completely ignored by everyone as if it did not happen. This is
obvously not good for anyone, so please, discuss major events before doing
them.
Remember: Secret plans and surprises are seldom fun for anyone else. Before
they're revealed they're boring, because nobody knows about them, and
afterwards they're just annoying, because nobody knew about them.
Thank you, and have fun!

Summary for Loranna, Female Nord: Loranna has continued to partake in the arena
practice bouts, most recently fighting with most of her companions against Dram
and his elite guards. The battle ended in a victory for Loranna's team, though
it was not a landslide victory and Loranna is already planning new ways to
improve the party's strategies, after talking with Tris.
She has also been gifted with a lovely set of figurines by the talented
Diamond, and is rousing her fiance Slyvos to enchant them so that the party may
plan strategies without having to act them out all the time.

Loranna smiles at Razbiah, and says "As hungry as ever,
Razbiah dear. As hungry as ever. What are we having today?"
"Oh, nothing special I'm afraid," Razbiah smiled.
It was Razbiah's usual breakfast, hearty and nutritious as always, but it was a
little different. There was a hint of spice, or actual flavor. Not at a lot.
Just enough of a touch, a tentative experiment.

"I did speak with Slyvos though, about having our new figurines

enchant some more items for us - Gorn, I've been thinking you may want some
clothes with shield effects to bolster your armor, maybe a belt to resotre
fatigue as well. Some more speed enchantments perhaps, help you get around to
defend whoever needs defending. Oh, and I wanted to ask - how broad and how
narrow an area can you blast with your sword? Tris mentioned a very good idea

Goranthir seems grateful to have the change in conversation. "I don't know
what the limits are on the Kynarine effect, but I've been practicing. I haven't
used it to its widest extent yet ... I don't know how useful it would be."
"The armor's already enhanced. I move faster in it than out of it. But I
definitely need some more defenses. Just standing in front of arrows and fireballs
seems like a clumsy strategy."

Memories flooded into Falco's mind. It was 18 years earlier, and
he was just 15.
Hulayn and Falco crouched outside of a Noble's manor in Ald-Under Skar.
Salis, Ra'Siirr, and Glisnak were all in the tavern of the town. Hulayn was
taking Falco on his first mission, a simple robbery of the noble's house.
"Falco I want to give you something. My old saber, I want you to have
it."
"Thanks Hulayn, but I don't know how to use it."
"I'll teach you, little Falco, you'll be the best swordsman in Tamriel
when I'm done with you. Anyway I am going to wait right here, you're gonna go
in and snatch yourself one o' them expensive tapestries. That should net us
around 1,000 gold."
"Alright I won't let you down."
"No I doubt you will"
Hulayn hugged Falco then crouched down in the shadows ou of sight. Falco walked
inside the manor, luckily it was late and nobody was present in the entrance
hall. Falco delved further into the manor, hiding in the shadows as the
occasional guard yawned and passed by. Finally he reached a banquet hall and
snatched one of the tapestries hanging there. He had folded it up, and tucked
it under his left arm when a hoarse Dunmer voice called out, "Put that down
and drop you weapon lizard!" Falco spun around to see a guard in bonemold
armor and holding a steel sword.
Falco dropped the tapestry. Then he drew his saber. He held it in his hands and
glared at the guard. When it becane apparent he had no intention of dropping
the blade, the guard lunged. Falco side stepped to dodge him, and brought down
his own saber on the guard's neck. The decapitated body fell to the ground,
making a loud thump. Falco turned to see the thast two guards had become
alerted to his presence byy the scream the dead guard made just beore he died.
Falco knew he couldn't fight them both. He backed up against a wall as they
charged him. Suddenly another figure emerged from the shadows and began
battling the to gurds, killing them quikly. The figure turned to reveal his
argonian face.
"Hulayn!'
"Grab the tapestry and lets get out of here!"
Falco took the tapestry and ran with him out of the manor, and ou of Skar. The
yells of guards could be heard chasing them in the background. They never found
the argonians.
Falco contemplated the memory.
That had been my first succesful theft, and my first kill... I only now
realize that Hulayn may not have been a very good person, but he looked out for
me, and was more of a father than even my own father was. Or at least like an
older brother.. May Stendarr forgive him for what he has done. Pease, don't
dwell on his misdeeds but on his good side, the side that took an orphan in and
raised him, out of the goodness of his heart.

"We can practice more with the sword today, then," Loranna says,
cupping her chin thoughtfully.
"Shield spells will help with arrows," she says. "Magic ... a
reflect spell, or an absorb magicka, would be the best overall defense. Though
such defenses will make it harder for us to cast spells on you, like the
healing spell I cast. Still, I use absorb magicka all the time, I can probably
help you figure something out - an amulet with a brief-lived reflect or absorb
effect, simply making sure you have a spell cast on you when you're defending
for us ..."

He replied in his standard tounge, "Good morning there... I am Falco
Redflash, and I would be happy to help you around this town of smooth-skins.
But may I ask why you don't speak hist?"
"Not from Black Marsh."

Goranthir laughed. "It's not that bad. I like the
idea of an amulet or something I can use when it's needed. If it's
constant effect, then I won't be able to be healed, but if I can choose when to
activate, that'd be best..."
"See, I'm so used to being the healer that I just went and made my armor
constant effect," Loranna says, laughing a bit. "Plus I tend to use
potions for healing a lot as well."
"I'll see what we can get you; between Slyvos and the Mage Guild we have
resources enough to make whatever we feel we need," she says. "Even
if we don't know yet if it will all work out there, no reason not to prepare
for what we can."

team right off the bat, and you blast them with Kynerine immediately
thereafter. Knock most of them off their feet, let our fighters advance with
less fear of taking incoming fire. Then I thought. if anyone managed to break
through our fighters' lines, you could use the sword to keep them at bay before
they got in close - assuming of course they don't pull the same trick Dram
did."

Tsei had recalled to outside of the tavern, where she sipped her drink and
smiled. She wondered where the action was in this town....She walked into town,
and looked around for a commoner. She happened upon a Dunmer woman and asked
her, a spell in her voice again "Where could I find some funnnn in this

about her. She was bosomy, or as bosomy as an Argonian woman was. She wore
nothing but a robe, and an amulet. Her age was twenty, or so.

Kratos arrived at the tavern and drank many glasses of sujamma,
afterwhich he roamed the streets and finally passed out in the middle of the
street between the castle and the blacksmith.
After practicing some archery and Destruction spells, Raithen came upon a very
drunk and very unconcious Kratos whom looked like he had died in the middle of
the street. He was attracting a rather large group of children who seemed
intent on poking him with sticks untill he awoke.
Raithen entered the company of the children (some seemed impressed of a Wizard
being amongst them, and some simply ran away, scared), and began lightly
kicking Kratos in the gut. "Wake up, you drunk," said Raithen with a
smile.
Raithen did the honor of taking the still passed-out Kratos to a room in the
tavern, hoping he will be better the next day.

The little boy, one of the Nordic settlers, just old enough to
learn to ride, sat on the dock at Ald Raathim, idly throwing rocks into the
lapping waves, turned red and gold by the setting sun. He was dreaming of
slaying great shining red dragons which flashed through the waves. Throwing a
rock far out into the surf, something caught his eye. Something that, just like
the sunset-tinted waves, gleamed red and gold. Something that invoked an even
greater sense of adventure in a young boy. Sails.
The boy lept to his feet and squinted his blue eyes agains the sinking sun.
They weren't the sails of the old sour-faced Dunmer merchants, they were
warships.
He lept excitedly from his perch and ran into town yelling to anyone who would
listen, "Imperials! The Legion is coming to the port! The Legion is
coming!"
By the time anyone a bit more mature had reached the docks, the red-sailed ship
had pulled alongside the harbor, and its lines were being secured.
A small group of armored Legionnaires stood on the deck, but two in particular
stood out from the rest.
The first was a smiling young man whos golden hair competed with his golden
breastplate for which could shine most brightly in the sun.
The other was the largest, ugliest orc anyone had ever seen.

Loranna's day had been one of routine business and alchemical work. The
groundwork for new trading routes was being set up. The school needed more
funding. The trainers Loranna had called needed places to stay. And her
companions, especially their archers, would need potions for healing and
protection, and for hurting their enemies.
By the time the Imperial ships had been sighted, she had been relaxing in her
study, sipping some filn and reading up on The Real Barenziah. When she
hears the cries, she gets up, a smile coming to her face. Quickly, she makes
herself presentable, donning a fresh dress and hurrying out to the docks to
greet their visitors.

The young blonde man smiled wider and bowed. "Thank you for the

"I'll second that," the scarred orc said, in a grumbling voice. He
bowed awkwardly but politely to Loranna, his grey hair slapping his heavy

"This, if you remember, is Gruznob, Sergeant of the Eighth Cohort,"

Cyndarius offered his arm to Loranna. "I tried not to bring too many

Anya sat on her bed, admiring her latest adjustment to her matte
black Glass Curaiss. She had added a belt with several pouches affixed to it,
holding dozens of shurikens.
The shurikens were enchanted ones she had found in the bottom of her traveling
bag, the one she had thrown into the closet and had given little though to.
Upon finding them, she had more made, thinking they'd be useful since they were
more accurate and faster than a bow at closer range, and reflect wasn't a
problem. Plus she prefered them over bows, even though she was more than
proficient at both. The spells ranged from silence to dispel, spells that would
help her damage them more with her heavier weapons, and were nice when the
mages were occupied.
She had worked on it for a distraction, as she didn't feel like going back to
her previous training. The bottles of Restore Magicka that littered the floor
and the full bottles on her nightstand were a testament to that. She had been
trying to improve her magic for her singular spell at the moment, Invisiblilty,
that she had learned two days ago.
Huffing in fustration, she squinched her face in concentration. Her hand came
up in customary wave to start the spell, and she shimmered as the light bent
around her. She counted off the seconds until she reappered. "That was the
easy part..." She waved her hand a second time, counting the seconds
again. She closed her eyes, "Did it work?"
Warily opening an eye, she peeked at the mirror, her eyes then snapping open in
jubilation, "By the Nines! Three times, I can finally cast it three
times!" She realized it seemed silly that she was excited over this
indifferent feat, as many accomplished mages could do much, much more, but she
was happy, this was the first training in magic she had ever had.
She sat up with renewed vigor to practice some more, when a sudden realiztion
dawned on her, "Oh no... yesterday was the fight with the gaurds, I'm in
so much trouble now." She layed back and covered her face with her hands.

There was a knock on her door. Shaka stood there with a hand-wrapped box.
"Good to see you, elf," he said, smiling. "I'm going to join
some others in Loranna's study, but I wanted to give you this first."
She would find Mara's Skirt when she opened the box. Shaka didn't use it so
much anymore. Though he knew Anya wouldn't wear it into battle, she might be
able to wear it afterward to help restore her energy.
He knew how it would appear to her, apparently a tweed of red and black.
"Don't worry about missing the bout yesterday," he added. "We
had enough people for a pick-up match anyway."

is, we're training for arena fighting against teams of warriors. We're looking
to prepare an eight person team to face these other teams, and we need to learn
how to work together as a fighting unit - hence, why we seek your knowledge of

Ald Raathim, beach-
Dante scooped up another clump of wet sand, before hurling out into the sea. He
continued to do this for a little while before becoming too bored of it.
He let out a sigh, before making his way over to one of the hammocks, and
sitting on it. There were a couple loud cracking noises just before Dante
plummeted through the hammock and down onto the sand. "Stupid..." he
muttered to himself, looking at the several cut shards of rope sitting next to
him.

"Shaka..." Anya ran to the door, but he had already left for the
study. She picked up the box.
Anya tried on the skirt, twirling in fron to f the mirror. "It's lovely.
Restricts the legs though..." She folded it up and placed it on top of her
dresser. She plopped back onto her bad.
Shaka... She closed her eyes and rubbed her face. What is wrong with
me? Everytime someone came close to her, every muscle tensed and pushed
awayed, and her mind screamed to run. She barely managed when she showed simple
gestures like that.
But... but there was that small part that wanted more. She had never felt safe
before, where she could completely relax, strip away her self made walls and
defenses. Not even with Vondicus, though he saved her, had made her feel so
protected, so warm, that she could just be little Anya, without the cynicism
and caution she had built around herself to keep alive.
Only once, in the dining room after the banquet in the Queen Mother's honor,
when she was crying on his shoulder.
"Why did I shed my mirage that one time, but can't do it now?" She
was still trying to understand the feeling, love wasn't something she had seen.
Was it simply the comfort of a strong protector? Or did she truly want him?
She was too young to remember her parents or how they loved. And she was hurt
early on when her only family member she knew shunned her. Her uncle was more
protecter and teacher, a master and student relationship forming, to understand
any true love. And her cynical nature kept her blinded to the various couplse
she met on her travels.
"I need to know..." She lept up and ran off to find Shaka.

Stupid of me not to include a note giving the full history of the Skirt,
thought Shaka. Mara's avatar had given it to him after he had survived Winged
Twilights in a cavern, rescuing what had appeared to be a woman in distress.
He had been surprised when the avatar had given him her blouse and skirt before
recalling out, nude. Well, why would the gods care about mortal trivia like
undergarments anyway, he thought, smiling slightly.
Shaka realized he would be late to the briefing with the Legion, so he
continued to Loranna's study. I should have said something to them when they
arrived, he thought, but I didn't want to horn in on people who seem to be old
friends.
He would have to make sure to speak with Anya later.

she stood there, her whole body quivering.
"Don't do anything, just hold me, I need... to find..." Her voice dropped
off into a murmur. His rough body and tight embrace providing a safe haven, one
she had only felt once before.
Standing there, her eyes beginning to water, she slowly began to force herself

just do?
Her eyes downcast, but oblivious to all, caught her in her own world, she
sifted through what just happened. She still wasn't sure why she did that. This
wasn't like her. She had normally kept everyone at arms distance, cautious of
their intents. But that was before. Before her sister. Now she didn't
understand even herself, and she wasn't sure she entirely liked the turmoil.
Maybe I'll never know.
She let it go, content to try to be happy with what she felt now, confused by
what it was. She just knew it felt nice, better than she had felt in many
years. She followed Shaka to the study, not really sure what to think, or say. One
step at a time.

Isidor saw the legion arrive, and make their way to the castle.
Feeling that there was nothing else to do, alone, he made his way to the
castle, still depressed. When he arrived, he saw that the Legion officers and
some of Ald Rathiaam's residents were going to dinner together. He sighed, and
made his way into the hall. He saw Shaka and Anya together, and jealousy surged
through his blood. Not jealousy of Shaka or Anya, but jealousy of what they
had.
============================
After Falco had dozed off, Tsei snuck out of his bed, put on her robe, and took
his saber, for fun. She made her way down to the great hall, and saw a crowd
going into the hall. She followed, a little smile on her face. She stashed the
saber inside her robe.

Shaka and Anya arrived at the dining hall and joined the others.
Sunlight slanted in through the stained-glass windows, and the long trestle
tables still gleamed from Barenziah's recent visit.
Shaka studied Captain Cyndarius and his men. He had settled automatically into
his usual approach to new people and situations: wait and watch. He glanced
over at Tris for a moment as well.
Tris probably thought Shaka still hated and envied him. Shaka had passed beyond
that some time ago when he had realized there was more to Tris than a handsome
exterior. The battlemage could sense that, like Arynel, there was hidden power
there, and mystery as to where it came from.
He owed Tris a talk soon. Shaka thought there would always be a difference
between them; they were polar opposites in most ways. But they had a common
goal, the protection of Daruhn and, indeed, all Life itself.
Shaka didn't recognize the female Argonian who had entered the dining hall.
Somehow he felt wary of her; there was something furtive about her even when
she thought she was fitting in.
Isidor didn't look well this morning. We've got to get him to Skyrim soon and
lay his past to rest, thought Shaka.
While they were still in the corridor, Shaka had whispered to Anya: "If
you want, I can try to help you become more used to touch." Long ago,
Ahanassi had taught him a little about nonsexual massage with oils.

Nodding to the new Argonian, he took Anya over to find a seat.

"Try what?" She said innocentley. She extended her hand and said
"Nice to meet you."

Part I
Every era has its heroes and every hero has a story. It is when these heroes
join each other that a new tale is woven, enriched by the variety and facettes
of each individual, and thus an epic is created that is worthy of being told
time after time.
Yet what happens when the heroes lose this epic? The weaves of scripture,
formerly shining in bright colours will resolve themselves and revert backwards
and the heroes will not know each other nor what they have accomplished
together and the world they have created will die and it will be as if their
stories were never told.
It was a time of despair, the world was threatening to break apart and that
which held it together would eventually fail. Once again, heroes gathered to
find a way to save the world and they digged deep into its secrets to find the
solution. To save it, much would have to be accomplished and many heroes would
add their part. They devised a plan that would change the world and restore the
beauty of old, yet their very own stories and history would be falling prey to
this plan and all they had accomplished would be lost and so their hearts sank.
Yet still, even in a world that is doomed, bright starlight can break through
dark clouds as a glimpse of hope, and this time, hope took the form of a tale.
"There was once a scribe among the Aldmer, wise and skilled beyond any
mortals' skills. With open ears, open mind and a hand swift as the spoken word
and even the unspoken thought, he took delight in recording all that other's
achieved. His skill was soon known far and wide and where he went and recorded
that which he saw and even that which is not visible to the eye, people were
whispering that he seemed to help record time itself. The scribe, however,
occupied himself not only with recording accomplishments large and small, but,
as it happens when one delves in history, found pleasure in ancestry and
secrets.
This was a long long time ago, yet still it is whispered that the scribe never
lost his love for recording that which has been accomplished and that he still
writes down what happens."
This scribe could be the one who may be able to help them...
Many tasks were given to the heroes to prepare for the restoration of the
world. The story of the one charged with the mission to find the scribe is only
a small part of the greater efforts of others that had to be undertaken. Still,
this is the tale to be told herein.

Goranthir joined the group for dinner. The handsome young ranger
had changed after practice into a simple black cloak, red tunic and breeches
which was the non-armored house uniform of the Royal Guard of Morrowind. He
hadn’t brought enough clothes with him when he left Mournhold, and had ordered
some more from the village tailor but they would not be ready for another two
days.
He introduced himself with a bow to those he had not met: Cyndarius, Gruznob,
Merey, Spooky, Tsei with a simple "Goranthir, at your service."
As he took his seat, he whispered to Loranna: "Thirty yard maximum target
area, my lady."

Loranna had taken up the duty of introducing Cyndaruis to all
the new faces, as she had done when Barenziah had first visited:
"Captain, this is Shaka, a battlemage and adventurer. He came to Ald
Raathim back during Early Harvest and has stayed with us to help us through our
recent troubles, proving himself a stalwart companion."
"And this is Isidor, recently of Dagon Fel, who joined our group when we
went to Dagon Fel seeking information to save Ald Raathim from the vengeful
ghost of Raithmat, its former lord. He is as fierce and brave as his wolf Loki,
and a skilled fighter."
"And this is Anya, spearwoman, archer, and survivor. We met when I took an
expidition to some Daedra shrines back on Vvardenfell, and she has stayed with
us through thick and thin ever since. She, and her flying friend Lotus, have
proven welcoem additions to Ald Raathim."
"And this," Loranna adds, with a slightly larger grin, "is
Goranthir, recently of Queen Mother Barenziah's retinue, joining us in search
of adventure. He is gentle and kind, a friend to animals, and he has the
promise of a great warrior within him."
"And this, is Tsei, who has just arrived at Ald Raathim seeking
interesting people to meet," Loranna says, smiling but giving Tsei a
warning glance. "Already she has impressed one of our own, Falco Redblade
..." Loranna frowns. " ... who is not here right now despite rarely
passing up a chance for free food," she mutters, chuckling a little.
QUOTE
The guard entered where Loranna and her company were dining.
"Lady Loranna, a 'Lady Maiev Shadowsong of Tamriel' seeks to dine with
you; it sounds important..."
Loranna's eyebrows go up. "It seems we still attract new people to us,
even when sitting down to eat," she chuckles. "Show the Lady Maiev
in, please." The guard nods and goes to fetch the striking Imperial woman,
who will find the dining room a lively place, with Imperial soldiers, a
beautiful man in gleaming gold armor, a Nord woman with silver tearstreaks
below her eyes and ashen skin, and several others ...
"Hello, and welcome to Ald Raathim, Lady Maiev Shadowsong," Loranna
says, rising and speaking in a formal but friendly tone. "I am Dres
Loranna Pyrel, Lady of Ald Raathim. I beg you, come sit and dine with us, and
tell us of the path that brings you to our home."
QUOTE
As he took his seat, he whispered to Loranna: "Thirty yard
maximum target area, my lady."
Loranna nods to Gornathir subtly, whispering "Very good; that's a pretty
wide area. We'll talk more on it in a few moments."

Falco was awoken from his slumber by the smell of food. He
looked to his side to see that Tsei was not there. He chuckled a little as he
dressed himself when he noticed his saber was gone.
She's quite the thief... If I don't watch my back I'll soon have some
competition around here.
Falco tucked his dagger into the back of his belt, where it would be hidden by
his cloak. He headed down stairs where a large influx of imperil, legion
members were seated. Falco sat down next to Tsei and hid his face with his hat,
hoping an officer of the law wouldn't recognize him here. "Thats a good
trick you pulled Tsei, I'll have to remeber that one. Now after dinner would
you mind giving me my property back?"

take it like a man. "Hello everyone, what is with all these

across from the table.

QUOTE(Arynel @ Aug 14 2005, 04:14 PM)
The door to the castle dining room slowly came open, turning
quietly on oiled hinges. A cloaked Breton peaked his head in, glanced
around the room, then entered therein fully, and took a seat.
"Legends are what normal men think they can never be," Arynel said,
"and the very thought proves itself."
"Profound as usual," Tris said. "And a very good point. No one
here is anything other than an ordinary person; it's just that ordinary people
are far less ordinary than we teach ourselves to expect."

Cyndarius gave Goranthir a solid, searching look, and seemed
about to say something. He seemed rather relieved to be interrupted by the new
arrivals.
"Arynel! Good to see you again!
"And," he said, standing and offering a hand to serious looking
Dunmer, "I suppose all the Imperials would be my fault. I'm Cyndarius.
Pleased to meet you."

Arynel smiled twice, firstly to Tris, and secondly to Cyndarius.
Then the Breton took a seat.

"So," Goranthir said, noticing the pause, hoping he
wasn't the cause, and turning to Cyndarius. "I was not here when you
arrived, my lord, but what are your thoughts about preparing us to face the
eight champions?"
He looked quickly to Tris. Were they allowed to speak about that openly?
he wondered after the words were already out.

"I think we can trust Cyndarius," Tris said. "He saved
everyone's bacon during the Blue Dawn. Besides... there's never been a guard at
the door of this enterprise, we take all comers, even when the advantage may
not be readily obvious."
It was all about CHIM, he thought, but didn't say. It seemed strange to think
it, but he missed Vivec. Most of the newcomers had no inkling of the world
beyond what lay right in front of their faces.

"Captain Cyndarius, may I present Kratos, formerly of the Ordinators and
survivor of the Blue Dawn," Loranna says. "He has recently joined us,
seeking to lend his strength and weapon arm to a worthy cause."

Kratos shook the Imperials hand and announced himself, "I am Kratos the
Ordinator, pleased to meet you." Kratos sat back and placed his Indoril
helm on the table. "Now why is the Imperial Legion here may I ask?"
Kratos said with curiosity.

"Well," said Cyndarius, around a hastily swallowed
mouthful of roast, "I'm franky still piecing together what's going on, but
there seems to be one thing that's certain; you need to win.
"I can't say I have some huge plan or anything, but I understand you all
are practicing. I'm here to observe, I suppose, and if you aren't winning, I'll
try my best to see if I can change that.
"Really, I suspect Gruznob will be more help than me. He's seen quite a
few more battles. He knows what he's talking about."
"Unless he's talking [censored] about women," Merey chimed in,
forgetting himself again.
"I'm very pleased to meet you, Kratos," Cydarius said, before being cut
off by Goranthir.

"You've never heard of him?" Goranthir was astounded, and launched
into a long, gushing description of the Battle of Freetown, which was scarcely
exaggerated and minutely detailed, about Cyndarius and his men's various
victories over overwhelming forces. "That's why he's here."

Fslco busied himself telling Tsei of how he had defeated 16
daedric princes at once, along with various other tall tale. All the while he
was listening in ont the conversation with Cyndarius, hoping to hear some
useful information.

Goranthir looked to Loranna.
"I think that would be good, yes," Loranna says, doing a good job of
not noticing Cyndarius's excessive interest in his roast. "We could do
some four on four against ourselves, or ask Dram and his guards for another
bout ..."
She looks like she wants to say something else, as she glances at the Imperial
soldiers, but she refrains for now.

Ordinators never really got outside of Vivec much so I wouldn't have known much
about other victories than the Temple's." Kratos then turned his attention
to Cyndarius, "It is good to have fellow commander here although we are
from two different forces." Kratos said before downing a frosty mug of
sujamma.
