Hello, and welcome to our Elder Scrolls Role Playing threads,
where we adventure and socialize in the vibrant
Before we begin, we'd like to clarify a few things:
This is an 'open roleplay' and everyone is encouraged to join in at any time!
'Open' roleplay does not mean 'unorganized' or 'limitless', however. The events
in this story are usually planned, and if something BIG happens, you can be
certain that it is the result of much discussion between players, usually in
the mIRC chat (#Loranna_RP). This is not just a bunch of disorganized
individuals doing what they think would be fun for their character at the time.
So, while everyone is welcome to join in, they are NOT welcome to jump in and
do big, world-changing things without DISCUSSING IT FIRST. Let me be very clear
about what cannot be done without permission:
1:
Any action that effects another person's character, for ill or good. Although
most people realize they can't harm another person's character without
permission, many don't realize that you can't HELP another character without
permission, either. Many characters have flaws for a reason. Don't go healing,
saving, or otherwise fixing another character without DISCUSSING IT FIRST with the
player involved.
2:
Any event that would drastically change things that have been done to the
world, whether the change is physical (rebuilding destroyed locations),
political (converting a population to a new cause), military (killing off all
the badguys) or anything else. Almost every situation, good or bad, that exists
in the RP was done for some reason. Don't go changing or fixing things without
DISCUSSING IT FIRST with the group.
Everyone who is involved in the RP is welcome in the mIRC chat channel
#Loranna_RP. If you have a plot idea then you are encouraged to go there and
discuss it. If you cannot get on the channel for some reason, or if the player
whos character you would affect with your plan is not there, then PM them using
this board's PM function. That's what it's there for.
For information on reaching #Loranna_RP via Mirc or Chatspike, look
http://www.ravensky.org/irc/.
Not following the above advice will only result in one thing: your post is
likely to be completely ignored by everyone as if it did not happen. This is
obvously not good for anyone, so please, discuss major events before doing
them.
Remember: Secret plans and surprises are seldom fun for anyone else. Before
they're revealed they're boring, because nobody knows about them, and
afterwards they're just annoying, because nobody knew about them.
Thank you, and have fun!
===
Summary:
Loranna, and her companions, have just experienced a shift in reality, finding
themselves in a world where Azura emerged victorious in the Blue Dawn. The
heroes who used the Eiodolon to defeat her never made it, and now Azurites
fight against Captain Cyndarius's men for Ald Raathim. Dres Jazbet, with his
Lady Kethiah, control the castle, Jazbet's precognition making him a deadly
foe, and the heroes were forced to flee to town, which Cyndarius's men control.
All player characters have escaped from the castle and are
now safely in town. No player character has actually been affected by the
transition to this reality, but no NPC remembers us - it is as if Blue Dawn
ended with Azura winning and the subsequent events unfolded differently from
there.
Oh ... it's also raining out. Cats and dogs.

Tris sat in what had been, earlier today, the tavern of Ald
Raathim.
He sat with his back against the wall. The front of his shirt, and his face and
neck, were caked with drying blood.
His wounds were healed now, thanks to Nalion. His shoulder rotated freely when
he moved his arm. But a thick, red scar cut across his boyish features, from
just under his ear almost to his upper lip.
He had touched Nalion's book, not intentionally, but touched it just the same.
Everything was different now.
He sat with his hand resting between Goranthir's shoulderblades.

Summary: Anya, the bosmeri rogue, is trapped in a comatose-like
state, where her sister's shade is talking with her.
Anya stood up. She had begun to feel elated, but it was cut all to short by
the realization that htis was just the beginning of their journey.
Allania looked at her. Anya's face had become set in stone, impassive. Yet her
eyes burned with passion and rage.
The corner of Allania's mouth tilted. A small smile formed.
There was nothing she could do, and this was only the beginning. Anya watched,
and tried to learn.
Anya's body had begun to shiver, feverish from the strain that Allania had
placed on her. She had begun to sweat profusely, but was unable to awake. Lotus
clacked in worry.

Ald Raathim was barely recognizable. Torches sputtered in the
heavy rain, sending ghostly shadows over the skeletal remains of the town.
Legionairres were carting off chunks of what used to be the provisioner's shop
to build a wall on the East side.
The mage's guild looked as if it had been bombed, which it mostly had. Everyone
steered clear of the oddly flickering, glowing crater that remained where it
had stood.
Still, what was most noticable was not what had been destroyed, but what had
never existed. Ald Raathim was tiny. It had never sheltered the country's
refugees, had never been rebuilt by Nords, had never felt the prosperity of the
months following the War. No proud hands had worked to make the tiny town into
the fine place that everyone remembered... from yesterday.
Shouts still echoed from the docks, as the Ninth Cohort retook the docks from
the Azurite's surprise attack.
Still standing except for it's collapsed porchfront, the little inn and tavern
looked forlorn; its colorful glass windows shattered and gone, and its cheerful
crowds replaced by bloody-faced soldiers.
The tavern had been converted to a headquarters for the Legion, but it was
still warm and dry, and the kegs were still full.

Summary
After barely managing to save Tris and the book, Nalion is now at the tavern,
using the brief moments of calm to catch his breath. His eyes were widened and
he was breathing heavily from the run. The Breton quickly glanced around,
looking for the companions, then nodded. All were there, except Arynel. Nalion
hoped he was well, but if anyone capable of getting out of this mass by
himself, it was Arynel.
"Good, at least that's something.", he muttered.

Though numb inside, Loranna had offered her services as a healer
for Captain Cyndarius's men and her companions. Anya, especially, worried her,
but there seemed nothing she could do, other than try to make the girl
comfortable, and pray to Dibella and the Nine that her friend would recover,
and reflect on how Azura had devoured anything from Jazbet that made him the
man she had loved.
Occasionally, she looks down at the cat-eye ring Jazbet had given her, just
before she had left for Gemin. She hadn't recalled seeing that ring on
Kethiah's finger - then again, Kethiahhad been moving very quickly, and Loranna
had been focused on other things at the time. Still ...
Do I know you? Jazbet's voice rings in her ears as she works what magic
she can.
Finally, she finds herself looking at Tris, her face as dull as it ever gets.

Summary
Goranthir is with the group, wide-eyed, more amazed than afraid.
He didn't turn around to face Tris, but it was good to feel him closeby.
'If we succeed,' he said with confidence, mostly to himself. 'This will all go
back to how it's supposed to be.'
OOC -- I'm actually out of here for the evening, but I had to post.

injured passengers echoes through his mind...*

"Sir!" a wet, muddy, exhausted herald called to
Cyndarius, just as he finished drying his hair, and was pulling on his golden
breastplate.
A leather message case was slapped into Cyndarius's hand, and, breaking the
broad purple seal, he read it. His face did not fortell good news.
"What?" said Merey, taking the dispatch as it was handed to him.
"Lord Klemenis is dead," Cyndarius said quitely.
Merey's lips whispered as he read the complicated document.
"You're a [censored] GENERAL?!" he said, far too loudly.
"Help me with these straps," said Cyndarius.

Slyvos was resting a couple tables down from Tris, his head held between his
hands, elbows against the table. He looks up at the sound of Tris's voice, his
eyes looking haunted - a look Tris might remember, or have felt when he touched
the book. One corner of his mouth turns upward though, as he looks at the young
Breton, and his tail flicks slightly, as if to say I'll be allright ...
Loranna rests her head on Tris's lap, sighing, taking comfort in his presence.
She opens her mouth a few times, seeking the energy to speak; the implications
of what they just went through pushed against her words, so that she had to
force them to come out.
" ... So this is how it would have been," she finally says, taking a
deep breath, "had she won." She sighs. " ... Where do you
suppose the change happened? Did we simply lose on Hogithum, did we die in
Gemin, or maybe something further back - maybe even never making it out of
Vvardenfell when Vivec fell?"

Tris ran his fingers through Loranna's hair, both to comfort her and to calm
himself. His mother had had long, golden hair.
"Haven't you guessed?" he said. "It's very simple. It's the
place where I tampered with the world, that's where the seam is. I guess I

She looks over to Cyndarius and says "Today, it isn't real. Someday though
it may very well be. On that day, we'll celebrate twice as much."
She tries to smile; she mostly succeeds.
"We have the book at least," she says. "And bravo to Tris as
Nalion has said for that; we can still make things right ..."
Looking up to Tris, she adds "Yeah, least this isn't," and pats his
knee. Slyvos makes a little snort, before rubbing his eyes and muttering
"Quiet you ..."

The Void:
"Nine more miles to Alcaire... Nine more miles to ALCAIRE... BaDUM... Nine
more miles to Al....CAIRE!"
Herwyn brand sang to himself in the dark. He was almost certain that frogs, at
night, sung for an entirely different reason. Probably one having to do with
that situation in Orsinium that he should've resolved by half-past last
Tuesday, and would have, if he hadn't been stuck here...
"Nine more miles to Al see you in... Al caire if I don't get there soon...
ALCAIRE!"
"Hello."
Herwyn jumped. The sound of another voice in the emptiness was completely
unexpected, especially one so sweet and girlish as this one.
"You look cold," said the fragile, ethereally white little
girl that floated behind him, her raven-black hair swirling in an unfelt
breeze.
Like being doused in freezing water, Herwyn came to his senses. 'Run', he said
to his legs, but there was no ground. 'run'
The little girl moved like lightning. He was dead, he knew it.
He also knew death would feel just like this; a huge, heavy blackness, descending
upon him, its cold breath on his face as it wrapped him in its iron embrace. He
knew its voice would sound just like this, too, deep and quiet... "Hold
on," it said.

The Tavern, Ald Raathim:
Cyndarius thought he heard someone beat a drum, just once, outside the tavern
door. He looked up, wondering why, as the broken door swung open.
A short, dark-haired Breton stumbled through, his fine suit matted to his body
with rain and sweat, his eyes sunken and black, making his face look deathly in
the dim light of the tavern.
"I'll have a brandy, if you please," said Herwyn Brand as he grabbed
the doorframe for support.

I was afraid you were dead, he started to say, but that wasn't quite
true; the book of Arkay knew all secrets, and Void Rangers could read it; Tris

weak.
Tris threw his arms around the new arrival. Maybe, in another universe, he and

question this little oddity.

Tris was looking at Herwyn with new eyes. He knew what had happened; he could
feel it. What he didn't know was how he had missed it before now. Perhaps he
hadn't even been in the world, running errands for the General in the Outer

They all knew each other, when they were near enough. It was like having

"Have some pickled nix hound and some skuttle. You should sleep, you're

How long had it been? A month? Longer? How long had Herwyn been missing?

Tris was looking at Herwyn with new eyes. He knew what had
happened; he could feel it. What he didn't know was how he had missed it
before now. Perhaps he hadn't even been in the world, running errands for the
General in the Outer Realms.
They all knew each other, when they were near enough. It was like having
something in your peripheral vision, or... no, not like that at all.
"We're in goddam Morrowind," he said, going back behind the
bar. "Have some pickled nix hound and some skuttle. You should sleep,
you're only barely making sense."
How long had it been? A month? Longer? How long had Herwyn
been missing?
Herwyn was dead asleep on the bench before food reached the table.

Herwyn was dead asleep on the bench before food reached the
table.
Loranna reaches into her tattered robe, and produces a small head pillow, which
she gently tucks under Herwyn's head.
"Nix Hound meat is terrible on an empty stomach anyway," she says to
Tris with a bit of a grin. "We'll serve him the scuttle when he
wakes."

*...One seeing the how quickly the newcomer Herwyn had fallen to the drink of
Brandy, he orders one for himself it then magically appears before him as if
willed to come...he never even notices the large bottle of Brandy that Loranna
is holding...Ami seems perplexed by her surroundings and Sona is regaining her
composure...in the moments that follow the trio fall asleep in the
corner...hoping no one burns their surroundings to the ground...just in case
Sona performs a complex ritual that if endangered will Recall the trio from

As Herwyn Brand fell asleep, Nalion nodded towards Loranna and
Tris, then helped himself to a bottle of brandy as well. Something strong would
just be right now. He sat down, leaned against a wall and took a deep swallow,
letting the liquor burn on his tongue.
Then, he put the flask down and pulled out a piece of parchment, already filled
with letters in his tiny script.

Part III
Knowing now where to find the scribe, the mage traveled quickly and found him
watching the proceedings below and noting them. Looking up from his writings,
the scribe eyed the mage suspiciously. The mage stood there, the mantle upon
his shoulders and the staff in his hand, and he began to speak.
"I come before you in peace and in great need - and as a friend of like
blood. Please hear my plea for help."
The scribe looked at the mage with curiosity, doubt and concern.
"What is this need you are speaking of, mage, the reason why I should help
you?"
"The world is ill, and it is succumbing to the sickness and will
eventually fall prey to it. We found a way that may avert this threat, yet it
will cost us dearly. Everything that we were, what we are and what we might be
will be lost. Our stories, our memories, our very selves. I have the dearest
wish to save this world and I by being who I am seek to preserve our
history. For this, I humbly ask you for your help.", the mage answered.
The scribe nodded gravely, then asked. "Is what you seek from me worthy to
be saved? And which knowledge would you want to be saved?"
Upon this sentence, the mage began to lay his case before the scribe and spoke
vividly of the history of his friends and companions in this world and of his
own stories, of their uniqueness, the great deeds and the small and of glorious
moments and times of pain. He told of their relations, of love, compassion and
even rivalry and how events had forged them together. Then, the mage added his
own heart's feeling to his arguments and how his heart was connected with all
of them.
The scribe listened intently, yet his expression was unmoved. "I grant you
that you tell a fascinating tale, and I have felt the tremors as well, but I am
not convinced yet why I should help you save it. So much destruction caused and
yet so little mended?"
The mage, slowly losing all hope, looked sadly at the scribe, then spoke in a
last attempt to sway his opinion. "The highs always do have lows as their
predecessors and are not the lows the anvil on which the hero is shaped until
he shines in glory? Is this not a world that needs heroes? And have you
not yourself crafted your wife after your stories and is my plea not similar to
this?"
So the scribe looked into his books and saw the many heroes that have appeared
in times of the greatest need and thought fondly of his beloved wife Oghma and
how he had arranged many stories to form her. Finally, he was moved by the
mages' speech and spoke. "Truly, I see now why you want to save their
story. So be it and I shall grant you what you seek. Wait here." Then the
scribe vanished.
After what seemed like days and days, the scribe returned and offered the mage
an item folded in cloth.
"In your hands you hold the story your companions and yourself have
crafted and it will contain all that has passed and will record what happens
now and the events that are to come.", the scribe explained. "Be
warned though. You know the world is trembling and it is harder to see what is
done, hurry, or stories will get lost. Like missing pages in a book disrupt the
reading flow, missing stories may disrupt the epic, leaving only incoherent
snippets bereft of meaning."
The mage realized how great a gift it was and bowed deeply before the scribe.
"I cannot voice my gratitude in a proper way.", he thanked the
scribe.
And the scribe bowed in return and then the mage left him with gratitude and
relief.

Isle of Betony, High Rock
"The fleet is ready, General!" The redguard sailor said to the robed
figure on the hill
"Very well, the Army of the Bay shall prepare to drive these hethens out
of Daggerfall City, for our lord!" the robed figure said
"FOR PRINCE MERIDIA!!!!" Yelled the assembled sailors to the robed
figure, as the force prepared to launch. Tomorrow, they would retake
Daggerfall, Maranda thought, and all in the name of her master. She was glad to
have rejoined her when the crisis esculated, now as second command of the Army
of the Bay, she would finally find glory... but what of her past life? Why was
she here, in Bretony, leading an Army in the name of Meridia? What on earth had
happened? One moment she was planning a wedding, the next, she was a general on
a battlefield... She boarded her vessel, and sailed fowarth, still wondering
what these conflicting thoughts were all about

Falco lay outside the tavern, covered with wounds. His clothes
stained with sweat, blood of his enemies and himself, mud, rain, and tears. On
the ground in front of him lay an azurite corpse he had dragged there after
running her through. He wept like he never had before, he cared not how these
events happened but only for the corpse that lay in front of him, that of an
old argonian woman. Falco's mother, the mother he had slain not 20 minutes
prior. Falco continud his weeping in the mud as the rain pounded down upon him.
"Why? WHY!!!!?"

Shaka had laid Anya down gently in a corner booth of the tavern and was now
holding a flin in one claw, trying to keep it from shaking. He had gotten out
of the castle with all his armor as well as the Spear and the Glass longknife,
but the rest of his gear was still back at the castle.
Luckily he had had enough presence of mind when retrieving Anya that he had
grabbed her gear bag, including her spear, and slung it over his back before
carrying her out. If she woke from her coma, she would have her armor and other
weapons.
He wanted to apologize to the others for running to save Anya. Maybe if they
survived this second Blue Dawn, he could ask for some form of trial or
punishment; just now, it didn't seem important.
Maybe it would be merciful if Anya were asleep when they were all overrun. He
vowed to fight to the end anyway.
Shaka happened to glance out an empty window and saw Falco. He immediately got
up and helped his friend into the tavern. Placing his fellow Argonian in a
chair, Shaka tried to check the extent of his wounds and cast a healing spell
on him, then wiped the mud off his face.
It had shaken him to see Kethiah changed into a murderous consort of Jazbet.
When the assassin had been Shaka's minder for Helseth, he had never really
gotten close to her emotionally, but there was mutual respect and trust. He had
never known a more resourceful fighter, either unarmed or with dagger in hand.
"Isidor . . . Thank you again for helping me at the castle, and helping
the others," Shaka said. "Tris, that was an amazing thing you did, to
fight through the Azurites to get the Book. Cyndarius . . . " Shaka
started to thank the general, since none of them would have gotten out of the
castle alive without the Legion, but he stopped when he realized: what did it
matter how many of the group he thanked. What was Shaka suddenly, a lord, to
think his good opinion mattered?
Shaka found a cloth and sponged the sweat from Anya's face for a moment. He
would have to ask someone: who was Bosriel? Who was this Herwyn Brand? Shaka
hadn't touched the Book long enough to know.

had tried to kill him, sending them to the tavern. The same tavern from this

Shaka glanced over at his friend. The Nord seemed more focused, but still
driven by inner demons.
It suddenly hit him: what would have happened to the few people in Ald Raathim
he had met? Was the herbalist Solange even alive, or the healer Egalius? The
Drunken Guar's upper rooms had been turned into a makeshift infirmary, so
perhaps the healer was alive and helping others.
Solange was a good woman, though he had lost touch with her over the past month
at the least. It might be better if she had died in this alternate reality rather
than have been changed.
Falco had calmed, but was still haunted by something, almost catatonic.

Under better circumstances, Shaka would have told Isidor what a fortunate

woman's "final favor" . . . It was amazing.
Shaka didn't smile at Isidor's luck, however, and told him: "The Kethiah

she had to put on over the years of contract killing, all the times she had to

Somehow she, instead of Loranna, hooked up with Jazbet. Maybe in this history,

few minutes, I miss them so much." But then he wiped his eyes with his
sleeves, cleanign it of any excess water. "Oh well, it was just a
thought." Plaas straightened and conitnued to listen to Nalion's and

Why can't you guys feel it? It so strong. The vibrations.. of something getting

She opened her eyes, tears running down her cheeks. "What if we don't make

Ahjaar hugged Luxi. "Calm down. Well make it out."

Falco sat on his bed, thinking over and over of the exact moment
he slew is mother. He had sworn to one day free her from slavery, he had always
worried about her dying in the blue dawn. Falco had never expected to see her
as an azurite. He swore an oath then, "I swear, that no matter what it
takes, no matter how hard it is, no matter if I die in the process. I swear to
kill Jazbet. I don't care if Loranna still loves him, or if he really is a good
person, He should die for the pain he has caused me." The pain he has
caused so many others. Falco then lay down and passed out from exhaustion.

Tris was in the House with no Doors.
He walked through the silent house, past the sleeping Dragon, past the fire
that did not flicker and consumed no wood. Up the stairs, not the turn that led
to the trick step, but the other hallway, a hallway with two doors, one to his
own bedroom, and the second to Ciel's. He turned the handle, and stepped
inside.
With a loud CLUNK, the hall lurched sideways, carrying everyone, including
the fake Ciel's corpse, with it.
The group found themselves in a large, round room lit with an orangy light.
A handful of gaunt, corpse-like creatures stood around the edge of the room,
manning large bronze levers. A large glowing ball rested at the center of the
room, and in it Loranna and Reichi could be seen fighting with Teleran, Dante,
and Nalion.
At irregular intervals, one of the horrid creatures would pull a lever. CLUNK!
At the far end of the room, carefully arranged on a table with cups and
saucers, was the bloody body of Ciel. His armor lay nearby.
"CIEL!" Tris cried, sitting up, wrenching himself out of sleep.
He looked around him, dazed. The others in the tavern were grabbing what rest
they could, or talking quietly.

Tris shook his head. "Herwyn Brand's been to Oblivion and back just now, I
don't begrudge him a bench to sleep on. It's complicated. When things break,
he'll pull with us, I think. When he tried to ambush us at Dom's grave, he
tried to take me down, but as soon as he saw what was happening, he started
doing what needed to be done."
He shook his head again. There really wasn't any way to explain it. Herwyn
Brand was loyal to Elysana. It was taking a snake into his bosom to think
otherwise. But there was a story about that, wasn't there?
"Priest of Stendarr told me a story once," Tris said. "A priest
of Stendarr and his acolyte were washing their bowls in a river, when they
spied a drowning scorpion. The priest scooped it out of the river, and set it
on shore, getting stung in the process. The scorpion promptly climbed up on a
branch and fell into the river again, and the priest rescued it again and got
stung again. The acolyte said, Why do you keep saving him when you know it's
his nature to sting you? And the priest replied, Because it's my nature to save
him."
Tris took his shirt off and examined it. It was a total loss; not only
bloodstained but torn by a Twilight's claws. And it was a good shirt,
double-stitched, faced with samite, and enchanted. He sighed, and started to
wash off.

"He managed to battle the way up to Red Mountain's crater on Hogithium. No
small task, considering the number of Azurites."
"The most infuriating thig about fighting these blue-eyed bastard is they
always have air support, and their twilights mean for every ONE azurite, they
have TWO units, the Azurite and his Twilight."

"The strangest thoughts keep going in my head," Goranthir said out

Nalion turned quickly on the spot, the second time today. A
broad smile appeared on his face despite the grave situation.
"Arynel! It's so good to see you, my friend!", the Breton exclaimed.
"Right now, it seems you're the one we need!"
The Breton nodded, but frowned slightly.
"If we do not have the eight there is little I can do," Arynel said.
He turned to Loranna, "Why did you let Tris go? Or is this the world we
wish to save?"

QUOTE(Allerleirauh @ Aug 20 2005, 07:43 PM)
That's her, Tris thought. It has to be. Oh, you beauty...
Silt Striders were hard to track from the Void; much easier to track on
foot. Ordinarily they were difficult to catch up to, but Tris was not an
ordinary man.
He entered the world outside Firewatch, found the tracks, and followed them at
speed.
"What an absurd escape this is," Barenziah couldn't help but laugh at
herself. It would have better to flee Firewatch by boat, but that was an
impossibility.
None of this made the least bit of sense. She had no choice but to react, and
then sort the pieces out later.
"Keep away from the cities, or you're dead," she told the pilot,
tapping her dagger against his neck.
He nodded, and steered the silt strider between the arid plateaus of the
north-eastern mainland.

"Goranthir wanted to save his grandmother; Tris offered to go and get her

"However ... we might be able to find Goranthir now," she adds,

It's good to see you, he started to say. But that was too obvious.

The Battle for Daggerfall, first day
The robed figure stood on his pedistal like always, looking down on the
battlefield below. Maranda whispered somthing to him, and he steped off the
pedistal, and slowly walked with her to the docks, which the Army of the Bay
took in the first few moments of thier blitz of the city. They had took the Azurites
by surprise, and had driven them out of the southern quarter, and the fighting
was now around the merchants precenct, after the initial shock, the advance had
ground down to a bloody street to street, house to house battle
"Is it ready?" the robed figure asked
"Indeed it is, my lord" Maranda replied, wondering why she called him
'my lord' but in this place, it seemed right. The robed figure stopped infront
of the troops which had recently landed from rebel controled Hammerfall
"Today, is a grand day in the struggle against the heridics. May the fiend
Loranna and her fiendish consorts who escorted Azura to Vivec forever burn in
the pits of Oblivion, for they will go down in history as the demons who caused
this, and we, the heroes that slayed the demon! Today we do not practice war,
but Genocide!" finished the robed man... speaking like that, who was he?
Maranda knew that voice from somewhere, but where? He turned to her and quietly
said, "Let us return to our tent, my dear" as the troops yelled in
appreciation, "All hail General Drevious!"

Then she bit him.
Herwyn Brand woke up with a start, knocking Loranna's little pillow off of the
tavern bench, and almost upsetting a mug on the table next to him.
He blinked, his eyes looking considerably less sunken than the night before.
"Where in Stendarr's name am I?" he said, rubbing his matted hair and

Firewatch
Goranthir came up from the water, carefully, avoiding the fires, which was
difficult as well-lit as the harbor was.
The Dreugh had help carry him until he hitched a ride under an Azurite warship
heading eastward. It had travelled fast, but he could see all the shipwrecks at
the bottom of the Inner Sea, and all the ships passing overhead, casting huge
wakes. The Azurites had the nautical advantage, that much was clear.
At a touch, his cloak became dry. He was exhausted, but he began his walk
through the city, towards the palace, keeping his hood down among the blue-eyed
enemies, here, in the heart of their capitol.

She made her way through the camp, hiding in shadows, remembering all her old

be dispatched silently and efficiently. She did so without hesitation, hiding
their bodies so they would not be found until hours later. Just as she had done
when she suddenly found herself in a palace filled with Azurites.
It took the better part of three hours to make her way to Tel Aedrin, but when

She had slept with that old Telvanni once three hundred and nine years ago. He

Daggerfall City, The battle for Daggerfall, General Drevous'
tent
Maranda did not know what just happened. She put her robe back on, and thought
back at the past few minutes... what had just happened? What was it? She slowly
walked out of the tent, leaving Drevious there, sleeping. I mean it was fast,
and he was not that good, but none of that mattered... what just happened? How
could she? He was a Daedra! I mean, he was kinda cute, but he was a Daedra!
Maranda struggled with these thoughts as she slowly walked back to the dock...
why was she here, what she was doing, and why she just slept with Drevous...

didn't hear. "What did I just walk in on?"

Herwyn smiled... quietly.

He sighs, nodding slowly.
'I know he's still a part of me... which is the only real reason I'm was able
to prevent him from doing anything hostile to any of you.'
He held back a tear.
'well, if there is one thing I know about him... he doesn't want to get rid
of you Loranna. What he does want, I really don't have to stomach to say, cause
I'm already giving him a mental thrashing for thinking it.'

Ahjaar shuddered.

"I can guess, love; I can guess," Loranna says, wrapping one arm
around Slyvos's shoulders, and reaching up with the other arm to run her
fingers through his hair.
"Slyvos's darkness has been bolstered by the recent warp," she tells
Tris. "Though perhaps it's just simply been lying in wait all the time,
and I just ignored it, wanting to think of my husband as just the kind, heroic
man who gave up immortality to be with me."

"Whatever he wants, it can't be worse than having sex with Aricyn, and
you've done that," Tris said. "Sly... tell your dark side to piss off
until after we save the world. If this keeps up, neither side is going to be
very happy."

Somewhere in the VERY stormy Padomaic Ocean:
"Whuff..." said the grizzled old wolf.
"What?" said Aricyn, "My nose itches, that's all."

When she finally regains her breath, she says "Tris, darling - speak more

She gets up and kisses Slyvos. "What he said goes double for me; you two
work together or I'll make you both regret it."
"Yes Ahjaar?" Loranna asks, heading to the Khajiit.

Tris sometimes had this effect.

"I.. I'm worried.. about you and Slyvos..." Ahjaar had a sullen look

Slyvos sighs, looking around a bit.
'you make it sound so easy. If I could have done any of that, I would have it

He closed his eyes and took a few deeps breaths.
'yah he's willing to work together with me for now... after all, my other half
has nothing to gain from the azurites either killing us or taking over our free
will.'

After a moment, though, she holds out her hand to Ahjaar. "I

"Slyvos does not like who he used to be; if he could erase that side of
himself, I'm sure he would," she continues. " ... But, right now ...
we've all been brought together to deal with this current threat; none of us
would be here if we weren't able to work together."
She smiles ...
