OOC:Uh..im leaning on it One is close and so is the tavernkeep as far as i know.

"Show me." Arynel says, smiling at Allerleirauh. "I have my own theories as to the nature of the house, but I would love to see it for myself. I will take the risk of traveling further down the golden road."

"In fact," she said, as if something had struck her, "This is a good conversation to hold in the presence of Azura. Dusk and Dawn, not moments when the sky dims or brightens but periods of transition... edges. And it's through the edges that it's easiest to get out. Staircases. Bridges. Houses built on water. These are our sacred places, where the divine breaks through into the mundane."

(Allie was near the bar, with her back to it.)

"Yes, but aren't all the great myths and legends that make up fairy tales based on truth of some sort?" I shrug.

"But if I must, I am willing to do something for you. I pledged my life to you, and not only am I willing to protect Azura, but I am willing to protect you as well, Loranna. You are as a part of her as she is to me and others, but I'm sure she told you that. It is what binds us together. We are in the service of a power great, and we should be willing. However, if this is a fairy tale, like you said, then we must both acknowledge that those fairy tales have good endings."

"So if you think of it that way, life won't seem so difficult. You strive for that good ending, Loranna. If you do, then I will to."

The Tavernkeep whispers, "You should go."

"Loranna, I suppose I'll join up with you, if you don't mind. But, I would have to stop for business in the Velothis."

Arynel considers Allie's words.

"I have thoughts, but no conclusions. Continue please."

"Go?Why?"Reichi asked turning to the Tavernkeep.

*Overhearing the Tavernkeepers whisper One takes a sip from his Tankard...all the while casting a low level Detect Creature spell...*

"I'll get some answers now...if the Tankard glows when I set it down..."

Loranna's face trembles for a moment. " ... Really ...?"

Hearing Allie's comment, Loranna turns to look at her, and her eyes change to green ...

" ... What would you ask of the Dusk and the Dawn, daughter and surfer of the unknown?" she asks formally. "Or is my presence alone enough to help the task you set for yourself?"

"That woman, upstairs," the Tavernkeep stammers. "Did you not notice her ring? Do you know who the Knights of the Rose are in Wayrest?"

"Knights of the Rose?..."

"What about the woman upstairs?"

*One contemplates sitting the Tankard down...he takes another sip and remains with it 2 inches off the bar...*

Reichi , not wanting to keep his back to the man while talking, merely cause of the neck ache he woud get from it, stopped his lean and turned fully ."Nope.Care to tell?"

Darius, noting that the tavernkeep seems agitated, ambles over. "Gentlemen?"

Allerleirauh turned to look at the barkeep.

"We are in the kingdom of Daggerfall, are we not? What has Wayrest to do with us?"

Truth be told, she wasn't sure she could find White Haven on a map... in fact, she knew that this SOUTHERN White Haven wasn't on a map.

"Yes Darius...oh by the way great celebration"

"She works for Queen Elysana, the Castellian family has always worked for the royal family of Wayrest," the Tavernkeep begins gathering his gold into sacks. "Don't you understand she's a spy? And what she's heard tonight ... Taverns have been torched for less by the Knights ..."

I nod. "Really, Loranna." I grin, offering her a bit of comfort.

Darius gulps - partly because some of that gold was still theoretically his. "This is becoming too much of a habit ... Samson, Harg, come over here please ..."

*One sits the Tankard down... a faint glow begins to surround it...after a few seconds it fades away...*

"Just as I thought...someone near me is not what they seem..."

"A spy you say? A spy for whom?..."

"Your rather calm about this considering the possibility of what could happen to the Tavern.Shouldn't you be packing all your valuble and getting them out of here?"

"A queen so diabolical she beat that lad Helseth to the throne, even with Queen Barenciah and Princess Morgiah -- treacherous as they are -- helping him."



"What do you think these bags are filled with? Laundry?"

The Tavernkeep staggers towards the door, bags in hand.

Louis and Hakan notice a few seem to be oddly gathering at the bar and go to see what the fuss is about.

Upon approaching the bar Hakan gets an odd feeling he sometimes got in the wilds of Solstheim...but with so many people around he can't tell what's giving him the feeling.

"I'll give her the regards of her brother, then," Allerleirauh said, standing up. "I've seen him recently. And the inside of a prison in Daggerfall not long enough ago. We've said nothing of any great moment, but we are powerful enough to seem alarming."

She went to the base of the stairs. "Is anyone coming up with me?"

"What purpose could that high level of a spy have with this Tavern?...I doubt these Knights of the Rose could find this Tavern anyways...it took me a while..."

" ... Oh; her," Darius says amicably, opening a small keg of brandy and downing it in three gulps. "Good friends, with the greatest of sorrow I hereby suggest we all make haste to anyplace other than here!"

Harg grins and cracks his knuckles.

Rilis hears this and heads towards the stairs.
"I'll go. She's going to learn all about Direnni dungeons from me."

"I'll go...if even to quelch my curiousity"

*One gets up from the bar and walks towards the stairs...*

"I never even considered that my spell could have tapped the upstairs rooms...

"I will come with you." Arynel says to Allie. The Breton walks to the base of the stairs.

I look at Loranna.

"Should we make haste?"

"Didn't you hear her sweetly interrogating each one of you? And believe me, just having a Direnni with you is enough for her ..."

The Tavernkeep steps out into the night.

"Heh..not gonna let some spy burn down the tavern."Reichi said before heading upstiars himself.Hand hovering ove rthe handle of his Daedric Wakizashi.

"Darius, go. And Harg, I give Loranna into your charge. Rilis, are you staying or going? It's your words that seem most indiscrete."

The room upstairs is empty. The window is open. Loranna's blue dress lies neatly folded on the bed.

Loranna-Azura frowns. " ... And I was actually looking forward to hearing your conversation," she says quietly, turning to Harg and Tharivor.

"I think we've all had enough partying, and two nights of violence are enough for a week, I say. Let's try for the better part of valor this time."

"I got a bad feeling about this...I'll have to keep an eye on Reichi...theres that Wolfsbane again..."

*One follows upstairs...*

Hakan approaches Allerleirauh, "I will accompany you, milady."

"She's gone." Arynel said. "What should we do?"

The Breton scans the room, but nothing catches his eye.

"Right," Allerleirauh said. "Get what you need, and get out of the building."

"That s'wit.she got away...."Reichi says, stating the painfully Obvious.
Unless...no...can't do that here.Too many people.Bah...

Rilis curses loudly, punching a hole in the wall.
"I will have her shackled to the walls of the Tower for this!"

"I dont think she got far...maybe we can still find her"

Loranna-Azura scribbles something on a piece of paper and starts heading to her room. "You two packed?" she asks her guards.

Samson, Melanus, and Elaine are helping Darius gather his things ...

Hakan runs to his quarters and grabs the large crate full of his a few of his belongings, speaking to Louis, "It would seem best to leave the immediate area, friend."

"So it would," Louis replied, though Louis intended not to exit until everyone else had.

Her own belongings were in the stable, with her horse. Allerleirauh paused a moment at the head of the stairs, listening, then clattered back down them. To the tavernkeeper she said, "Your ill luck, and I'm sorry. Take this gold and go to another kingdom."

She threw him a small pouch.

I check all my things.

"I'm good to go," I say, checking my things. "What about you, Loranna? Rilis?"

"I have everything I need." Arynel said.

The Breton is alert, or perhaps, nervous.

Pausing for a moment Solin ponders, she doesn't know me... I did not introduce myself... Yet if I go who would I talk to? He approaches the stairs and ascends following the others only to return back down as they hurry to re-enter the common room.

Rilis ran down the stairs and out the door, teleporting to Direnni Tower.

*One quickly casts the Detect Creatures spell he had used earlier...a starnge sensation overflows him...*

"I'm not sure...but somethings not right..."
